🍎 Parents & Guardians — just a reminder of a resource available right here at our school!

Nicholas County FRYSC God’s Pantry is available to any Nicholas County family with a student enrolled in Pre-K through 12th grade.

If your family could use a little extra assistance with food, please don’t hesitate to reach out. ❤️ Food boxes are available once per week, per household, upon request.

✅ Please make sure your form is filled out completely.

🧴🪥 NCMHS Hygiene Pantry | 2026–2027 💙

Nicholas County YSC is so excited and thankful to Humana Healthy Horizons in Kentucky for generously sponsoring our Hygiene Pantry at NCMHS for the 2026–2027 school year!

Through this support, students will have access to FREE hygiene products as needed through the Youth Service Center. Our goal is to make sure every student has access to the basic necessities they need to feel comfortable, confident, and ready to learn. 💙

🌸 Girls: Feminine hygiene carts will once again be available in each restroom for easy access to needed products.

🧼 Boys: Flyers are posted in the restrooms with information on how to discreetly obtain hygiene bags through the YSC.

A huge THANK YOU to Humana Healthy Horizons in Kentucky for investing in and supporting our students at NCMHS. We are incredibly grateful for your partnership this school year! 💙

💙It’s a GREAT day to be a Bluejacket! 💙

Today was a wonderful day at Nicholas County Schools as we kicked off the new school year with our Opening Day Breakfast! A special thank you to the amazing ladies in our cafeteria who work hard to make this special tradition possible each year. We appreciate you! 💙

Our teachers and staff are excited and ready to welcome our students back into the building tomorrow! We’re looking forward to a school year filled with learning, laughter, growth, and lots of great memories.

Here’s to a fun, safe, happy, and successful 2026–2027 school year! 📚✏️🐝
