The Nicholas County YSC would like to recognize these wonderful stylists, Grace Dailey, Renee Mola, Theresa Mynhier & Kenzie Lenox for partnering with us for our Back-to-School Free Cuts event. Thanks to their generosity, time, and talent, 95 free haircuts were provided to students as they prepared to start the new school year feeling confident and ready for success. We are incredibly grateful for their willingness to give back to our students and families!
The Nicholas County YSC would also like to recognize Tabbatha Tubbs for generously donating free haircuts to students who were unable to attend our Back to-School Free Cuts event. Her willingness to make sure students still had the opportunity to receive a haircut is a wonderful example of kindness and community support.
The Nicholas County YSC would like to recognize these amazing volunteers, Georgia Gilvin, Kay Shankland, Vickie Mitchell, Mike Mitchell, Gail Barton & Jo Thornsberry for the time and hard work they dedicated to our Step Into Success program. They spent several days helping sort, organize, and size shoes in preparation for the program. Their behind-the-scenes work played an important role in helping us provide 140 pairs of shoes to students. We are so thankful for community members who continually step up to support our students and schools!
Erica Bussell hosted the In Memory of the Barbara Bashaw Back to School Bash and handed out school supplies in the community.
