Saint Patrick School

Saint Patrick School Located in Central Pennsylvania, Cumberland County, and serves students in preK 3 through 8th grade. All faiths are welcome.

Students come from local communities: Carlisle, Newville, Boiling Springs, Mount Holly Springs, Middlesex, Mechanicsburg, Dillsburg, Camp Hill, Gardners, Shippensburg and areas in Perry County, PA. Saint Patrick School exists to develop the spiritual, intellectual, creative, and physical needs of students, thus preparing them to meet the challenges of modern life. The beliefs and traditions of the Catholic faith provide the foundation for a child-sensitive school environment.

📚 Prepared for a successful year ahead! 6th graders read “Get Organized Without Losing It” by Janet S. Fox. After learning how to organize their lockers, backpacks, and homework routines, they practiced this knowledge with a hands-on card game.

✨ Celebrate life! ✨ Students in 4th grade and up are invited to participate in the Saint Patrick School Respect Life Club. The Respect Life Club will educate, advocate, and celebrate life through programs designed to teach, learn, inspire, and serve throughout the year.

📢 IMPORTANT NEWS UPDATE: There will be NO SCHOOL, TOMORROW, FRIDAY AUG. 21, due to a power outage affecting the school/parish Marsh Drive facility.

The school was told to plan to be without power at our facility from 8 a.m.–5 p.m. Despite numerous efforts from parish and school staff to obtain more information, this is the information that was provided, and our school infrastructure cannot support our students and staff without power for an entire school day.

We apologize for the inconvenience, and thank you for your support and cooperation.

What's back-to-school week without a serious game of Musical Chairs?! 🎶🪑

To celebrate the start of school, Mrs. McPeake organized an afternoon pep rally filled with fun, laughter, and a little friendly competition! Students and faculty battled it out for the last seat in Musical Chairs, while students took on the hilarious challenge of Chubby Bunny. It was the perfect way to kick off a new school year—with plenty of school spirit, smiles, and good memories! ☘️

WOW! 🤩 Huge thanks to our garden helpers this summer, who did a fantastic job keeping the space watered and weeded, while enjoying the produce. It's in perfect shape for students to visit during STEM class over the next few weeks.

Over the summer, 13 families and Girls Scout Troop 10536 maintained the garden. The Girl Scouts added a butterfly house, seed exchange cabinet, friendship rock collection, bug hotel, and some plants—and some of the girls earned the Silver Award in Girls Scouts for their efforts. Thank you, all!
