We've got the 16mm projector up and running and tested out this original, Dickinson production "The Old Stone Steps" filmed in the 80's by Director Robin Miller. Who wants to watch it, and other random reels, in the Room this year? We will see what other gems might be floating around campus to have an old school movie night.

This film also shows Dickinson President Sam Banks, who side hustled as a Magician, putting on a magic show for students.

You can find the full video on Dickinson's youtube but watching it in film is pretty special.

You can now watch analog TV on the antenna. We get 5 channels including Univision! You can watch all of your daytime stories or whatever else might be on. Break the algorithm. No data is captured watching things this way!

To honor actor Sam Neill's passing we dropped the worst of the Jurassic Park franchise into the newly set up 13 inch crt tv/vcr combo. Sam Neill makes all films better, even Jurassic Park III.

We are sure this weirdo got into some real shenanigans during her 8 months lurking in Armstrong Hall. Not everyone is pleased to see her dead eyes back in Bosler (but others are glad to have her home). Thanks to DPS for getting her back to us.

She has a bandaged hand and broken foot. Thankfully the Makery has the tools needed to humpty dumpy her back together again.

If you have any lore about her adventures or just want to write up some fan fiction we are always interested in posting more about her side quests around campus.

We are already looking forward to spooky season👻🎃

We had the honor of creating this community mural base for the picnic.
Lauren Rubinson came with an idea to use the C logo and a tessellation of the bird so we ran with it straight to photoshop and illustrator.
Then moved the design to lightburn so we could mock it up on panels for our laser cutter.
16 panels later and it was ready to be mounted and painted communally. It's breathtaking to see how beautiful it became through many hands and vision.
Thanks for letting us be a small part in a great endeavor.

Burgess Institute for the Global Economy presents a lively, public celebration of student creativity and initiative. Finalist teams will share the stories of what they explored, built, and reimagined over the semester, giving short, engaging presentations of their projects to judges and the Dickinson community. Come cheer on your classmates, see a wide range of innovative ideas, and be part of an evening that highlights what’s possible when students turn curiosity into action. The night will end with awards and cash prizes that recognize the teams’ hard work, imagination, and commitment to making a real difference on campus and beyond
