☀️ Wishing You a Happy, Safe, and Super Summer! ☀️
Dear CES Students and Families,

We made it! Congratulations on finishing an incredible school year. I am so incredibly proud of how hard you all worked, how much you grew, and the kindness you showed to one another every single day.

Now, the sun is shining, and it’s time for some well-deserved summer fun! To make sure your break is as wonderful as it can be, here is your official Summer Counselor Checklist:

🔋 Recharge Your Batteries: Spend plenty of time playing outside, reading your favorite books, creating art, and just being a kid.

🧠 Keep Your Brain Active: Boredom is actually a superpower! It helps you get creative. Try building a fort, writing a story, or learning a new hobby.

❤️ Practice Kindness: Keep using those big hearts of yours at home. Help out your parents, be patient with your siblings, and use your polite manners.

🛑 Stay Safe: * Wear your helmet when riding bikes or scooters.

Always swim with an adult watching.

Put on that sunscreen!

A Quick Reminder: Even though school is closed, your feelings are still important. If you ever feel overwhelmed or sad this summer, take some deep belly breaths, talk to a trusted adult at home, and remember how strong you are.

I am already looking forward to seeing your smiling faces and hearing all about your adventures in the fall. Until then, take care of yourselves and each other.

Have a safe, happy, and absolutely fantastic summer break!

With big smiles and warm wishes,

Love Mrs. Shaw

CES wants to send a huge shout out to Dr. Jamie Pinto and her resident physicians for presenting to our 5th and 6th graders about hygiene and skin care. It was a fun afternoon filled with questions, rewards, tips and goodie bags. We appreciate your time and generosity to our school and community.

Before our holiday break, we had an amazing visit from UAMS and the Mega Brain. Our students and staff explored the inflatable brain and learned about the warning signs of a stroke.
Thank you to UAMS and the IDHI Stroke Program for this engaging and educational experience!
