📢 Carlisle School District Board of Education

The Carlisle School District Board of Education will gather on Thursday, August 27, at 7:00 p.m. in Bison Arena for a special video presentation of the district’s new video platform for activities in the gym. We thank our School Board and Booster Club for helping make this amazing addition to Bison Arena possible!

The presentation will give our board members an opportunity to view the new platform and see its capabilities inside Bison Arena.

No school district business will be discussed, and no action items will be considered or voted upon during this presentation.

Carlisle School District Board Meeting

The Carlisle School District Board of Education will hold its regularly scheduled monthly meeting on Monday, August 17, 2026, in the Debbie Reid Memorial Board Room.

Doors will open at 5:30 PM.
The meeting will begin at 6:00 PM.

Carlisle School District Bus Stop Update

The Carlisle School District is committed to providing the safest transportation possible for our students. After reviewing our current bus stops within the Carlisle city limits, we have made the decision to add two new in-town bus stops.

This change is being made to help eliminate students having to walk across Highway 13 and to reduce the distance some students have been walking to the City Park bus stop.

Beginning immediately, the following bus stops will be added:

1. McQueen Edition: Intersection of Westwood Drive and West 2nd Street. Please note that the bus will not enter further into the McQueen Edition than this.

2. Tarpass Apartments: North Williams Street at the entrance to the Tarpass Apartments. Please note that the bus will not enter the apartment parking lot.

The district will continue to utilize our existing in-town bus stops at:

City Park
City Market

The safety of our students will always remain our top priority, and we believe these additional stops will provide a safer and more convenient option for many of our families.

Today marked Day 3 of Back to School Professional Development for our Carlisle School District staff.

We are extremely grateful to Immanuel Baptist Church of Carlisle for providing lunch for our staff today. Your generosity and support are greatly appreciated as we prepare for an outstanding 2026-2027 school year.
