Congrats to tutor Annalee Brant who recently presented a paper titled “Faculty and AI: The Position of the Writing Center in Campus-Wide AI Discussions” at this year’s International Writing Center’s Association Conference in Cincinnati. Our first Tutor Spotlight of the semester is:

Anna Wendel!

Anna is a senior English major and a French and Francophone Studies minor. She works in the MWC as an English tutor and a Writing Associate. Anna shares:

"I'm from Yardley, PA. I studied abroad at the Mansfield College, Oxford University program in 2023-2024, and I am a Global Ambassador for the program this year. I have also been involved with the college choir, ALD Honors Society and Belle Lettres Society. I also got to publish research last year with three of my peers through the writing center tutor research program. We wrote about carework and improving tutor education programs. I love that in working in the writing center and as a WA, part of my job is to make writing conversational, build community and emphasize the recursive aspect of the writing process.”
