The Goodwill donation contest between the Lebanon High School Band and Carlisle High School Band runs from Monday, October 12th to Thursday, October 15th, 2026 (11:00 AM – 7:00 PM daily)

Event Details
• Dates: Monday, October 12 – Thursday, October 15, 2026
• Hours: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM (with drop-offs also accepted by the trailer)
• Location: Gross Lumber in Carlisle (Goodwill donation truck located out front)
• Contest Goal: Fill the Goodwill truck by total weight to win a weekly $400 band scholarship and compete for the $1,000 overall champion prize

A huge congratulations to the Carlisle High School Marching Band on their spectacular, award-winning performance at the Versailles Invitational!

Taking home top marks across the board, earning a Superior Rating, and qualifying as a 2026 State Marching Band Finalist is a massive achievement that shows just how hard the students, directors, and boosters have worked.
Here is a quick look at the spectacular haul of hardware they are bringing back to Carlisle:

Congratulations to our 7th Grade Volleyball Team who finished the regular season with a record of 15-1 overall (13-1 in the SWBL)! The team tied Eaton as regular season SWBL champions! Good luck to both the 7th and 8th grade volleyball teams as they begin league tournament play this weekend!

CHS Homecoming Pep Assembly Brings the Jungle to Life
CARLISLE — The Carlisle High School gymnasium was transformed into a roaring jungle as students, faculty and staff gathered for this year’s homecoming pep assembly, themed “Rumble in the Jungle.”
The energetic celebration brought the Carlisle student body together in anticipation of the homecoming game, filling the gym with school spirit, excitement and plenty of noise. From start to finish, students embraced the jungle theme and showed their enthusiasm for their school and classmates.
A special thank-you goes to student council organizer Kelly Crowe and the CHS Student Council for their hard work in planning and organizing the event. Their creativity, preparation and attention to detail helped make the assembly a memorable experience for everyone in attendance.
The assembly featured the kind of spirited activities and friendly competition that make homecoming such a special tradition. Students cheered loudly, participated enthusiastically and celebrated their classmates as the excitement surrounding homecoming continued to build.
The “Rumble in the Jungle” theme provided the perfect backdrop for an afternoon of school pride. The gym was filled with energy as students came together to support their school and get ready for the big game.
Thanks to the efforts of Kelly Crowe, the CHS Student Council and the many students and staff members who helped make the event possible, Carlisle High School’s homecoming celebration pep assembly on Friday, October 2 was a fantastic ending to a fabulous week.
With school spirit at an all-time high, the message from the pep assembly was clear: Carlisle was ready to rumble!

At the district's Board of Education meeting on Monday, 9/28/26, the Elementary Kindness Club members (from 2025-2026) were recognized. The Kindness Club plans activities to make all of our elementary students feel involved and included. We would like to thank these students for their time and efforts last year and we look forward to the 26-27 Kindness Club continuing to help all students feel welcome at school!

The Carlisle Elementary School Library was thrilled to welcome our very first Mystery Reader of the school year!
Allie Bowley from Mrs. Sherwood's 2nd Grade class visited Mrs. Crowe's AM Kindergarten class during Library and shared the beloved story "The Day the Crayons Quit".
When asked why she selected Mrs. Crowe's class for her Mystery Reader visit, Allie sweetly replied, "Because Mrs. Crowe was my favorite teacher."
It was a wonderful opportunity for our kindergarten students to enjoy a great story while seeing one of our older students return to celebrate reading and share a special connection with a former teacher.
