GRAND FINALE of this years annual Raise Craze fundraiser at Wagar Middle School. You will still have until the end of the week to log your acts of kindness as we will be giving an award at our annual Kindness Assembly to the student that completed the most acts of kindness, the student earned the most $$ for the classroom, and for the winning classroom.

Spread the Word Inclusion Day is an annual day of awareness on Wednesday, March 5th, 2025. Spread the Word to End the Word is held on the first Wednesday of March each year. The campaign aims to end the use of the R-word and promote inclusion for people with intellectual disabilities.

Recently, the United Nations reported that 1 in 3 students worldwide reported being a victim of bullying in some capacity. Uniquely, bullying is universal, but that doesn’t mean bullying is equal for all groups. Help to stand up to bullying and make school a better place for all.

What is inclusion? Well, it’s less an idea, and more of an action. For students and people with intellectual disabilities, inclusive environments are key to feeling socially accepted, and social acceptance is key to the mental and physical well-being of all, intellectual disability or not.

Join us in taking the pledge and make a difference in the school and in our community:

I pledge to Accept, Respect, and Include people of ALL abilities, including my peers with developmental disabilities and disabilities. Inclusion starts with ME! I INCLUDE people with developmental disabilities and disabilities in the classroom, in the workplace, and in my community.

Raise Craze is a unique way for us to raise money for our school while making an impact in our community. During this fundraiser, students ask friends and family for donations via the online Raise Craze platform while paying it forward serving others. What a great way for us to teach our students the importance of kindness and gratitude while raising much needed funds. Students will spend time serving, not selling!

1. Enter your student’s name
2. Select at least 3 Acts of Kindness
3. Enter 5-10 email addresses of potential supporters. Raise Craze will send all emails, reminders and thank you notes. Emails will never be shared with third parties or used for marketing.

This is our annual fundraiser where our students raise money for our school, students, families in need throughout our community and local organizations by completing acts of kindness. The prizes for students who participate, and the winning classroom are awesome but more than that we all get a chance to work together to do something kind for so many people in our community. This year each class will focus on a different organization:

Today we teamed up with KIDS WHO CARE and delivered Bearclaw Coffee to all of of the teachers and staff at Wagar Middle School. We loved to be able to help out in this way and help wish everyone a Merry Christmas! *It’s spirit week and today is Christmas Pajama Day! ❤️
