We are set and ready to go for our first football game performance!! The marching band is excited to show off their hard work from the last two months! They’ll be performing pre-game and halftime at Thursday game vs Tecumseh.

Airport High School Band Camp 2026 has officially come to a close!

What a hard working and uplifting group of students. They put in almost 60 hours of work this week to get their marching show on the field! They were focused, resilient and dedicated this week to get themselves in a great position to start the season and be ready to compete this Fall. They are also amazing human beings and have the best personalities to be with! We hope they feel accomplished for what they did this week and the memories they made! You should be very proud of them! This is always the hardest week of the season, but it was so fun and now the it begins!

Thank you to all the parents, adults, school staff and everyone who helped to make this week go without a hitch! Thank you to all the families who donated items, food and their time to make sure students stayed save, comfortable and hydrated! Thank you to our school administration and grounds staff for all of your support!

We can’t wait to perform our show next month at our first football game!

The marching band capped off their last full day of band camp with a trip to Turtle Cove Family Aquatic Center! They got to spend a few hours swimming, riding slides and lay back in the lazy river. What a fun way to end their week of hard work.

We conclude our last day of band camp tomorrow with a short day and our Community Show. Hope to see you tomorrow at 5PM for their first public performance!

We are now through our full Day #2 of Band Camp! The students, staff and adults are all working hard to get our show on the field and having fun in the process! Can’t wait for everyone to see what they have prepared on Friday for the community to see!

We are all back together!

After some time in individual sections training and learning, we are finally together as one big band! We are one week away from hosting Band Camp! We are excited to put our show on the field and begin our season!

Our Tour Show Shirt sale for the marching band is now up and running! These are themed to the marching band show, “The Arboretum.” There are many items to purchase, including shirts, sweatshirts, hats and sweatpants!

Check it out and buy some apparel! The band program does receive a portion of each sale as a fundraiser. All sales online are due Monday, August 3rd.

Congratulations to both the Wagar Middle School band and choir on their performances today at the Music in the Parks Festival in Sandusky, OH! Both the band and choir received overall Superior ratings!

Band received 3rd place and its highest score ever at this Festival event! Choir received 1st place!! Way to go Airport Choirs!! Both programs also received the Espirit de Corps award!!

The kids got to spend the entire day at Cedar Point afterwards and had an amazing time making memories! Congratulations again! 🏅🎢
