💃 Coming Home 2026: Dance & Assembly Details!
The Class of 2028 is excited to host this year’s Coming Home celebration. We have a fun-filled week ahead and a fantastic dance to wrap it all up. Here is everything you and your students need to know:

🗓️ Monday Assembly
To kick off the festivities, we will be holding a school-wide assembly this Monday afternoon during 6th hour. We’ll be:

⭐ Introducing our 2026 Coming Home Court

⭐ Celebrating our hardworking Winter Sports Teams

⭐ Keeping the energy high with some student games!

🎟️ The Main Event: Coming Home Dance
When: Saturday, Jan. 31
Time: 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Where: Airport High School Gymnasium

Special Highlight: We are starting the night with a bang! Señor Rojas will be leading live Salsa Dancing lessons right at the start of the dance. No experience or partner is necessary - students can just show up and join the fun!

⚠️ Important Reminder: Guest Passes
If your student is planning to bring a guest from another school, please note that Guest Passes are due no later than tomorrow, 1/23/2026.

We can’t wait to see everyone there for a night of music, dancing, and school spirit! 🎶✨

If your photographer sent in your photo you still need to fill out the google document.

MAKE SURE YOU FOLLOW ALL SENIOR PHOTO GUIDLINES - any photos that do not follow these guidelines will be sent back.

Any senior unable to meet the November 12th deadline for their senior headshot can come to Room 22 on Friday, November 14th to get your picture taken by Ray Wright with Ray Wright Photography - the cost is $10 and you MUST sign up in a slot to get them taken.

Seniors, it’s time to start thinking about your senior pictures for the yearbook! 📸

🗓 Deadline: November 12, 2025
This date is mandatory due to yearbook publisher deadlines. Photos submitted after this date will be placed at the end of the senior section, not in alphabetical order.

📷 Photo Specifications:

Size: 2x3
Head size: 1¼" (chin to forehead)
Head and shoulders only
No hands, hats, or scenery
No soft focus pictures
All color glossy prints
Simple background (old masters, earth tone, or blue/gray cloud effect)

Homecoming Shenanigans Part III: Friday Night Football 🏈

What an incredible night for Jets football and our amazing student-athletes! Before the game even kicked off, we had the honor of recognizing ALL of our girls varsity teams for winning the 2024-2025 Huron League All Sports Trophy. Many of our seniors played a huge role in this historic achievement - a moment that will forever be a highlight in Airport history! 💛💙🏆

At halftime, the excitement continued as we introduced our senior court and crowned this year’s Homecoming King and Queen! This year, we are over the moon to celebrate King Ryan Burgor and Queen Reagan Budzios. These two were chosen by their peers because they are incredible examples of what it means to be a Jet - hardworking, kind, and full of school spirit.

The celebration didn’t stop there - Saturday’s dance was a blast, full of laughter, dancing, and memories made with friends.

This last homecoming was one for the record books - a perfect mix of fun, school pride, and unforgettable moments✨✈️

Homecoming Shenanigans PART I: The Assembly

Friday’s Pep-Rally was an absolute blast! We played Musical Chairs, the Water Bucket Game, Tug of War, and Ring Toss…. And okay, we’ll admit it, we only won the Ring Toss 🏆😅 But winning or not, the fun was unbeatable!

We also got to introduce our amazing Homecoming Court 👑✨ What a beautiful day filled with cheer and school spirit! 💛💙
