Congratulations to Tristan Salemassi, the winner of this year's Scoop's & Stories Back to School Bundle! 🍦📖🍦

Tristan will pick up his bundle from the Eyler Elementary School office during Open House. We hope you love it!

Scoop's & Stories is the district's summer reading program, coordinated by Rebekah Anderson, Wagar ELA Teacher. The program, which just completed its 11th year, offers a free ice cream and book from Twist & Shake House or Swirls Ice Cream once per week throughout the summer.

The program's mission is to reduce the summer reading "slide," a decline of reading ability over the summer months, and foster feelings of excitement and fun about reading.

ATTENTION PARENTS OF INCOMING YOUNG 5’s and KINDERGARTEN STUDENTS:

We’re so excited to welcome our newest kindergarteners, young 5 students, and their families to Eyler Elementary! This will be a wonderful opportunity for our incoming students and families to learn more about the upcoming school year.

This will be on September 1st. Students will not report until their scheduled orientation time. Please do not send them on the bus or drop them off like grades 1-4. Guardians will walk with their student to their orientation location. Young 5’s will take place in their classroom, whereas, kindergarten’s will be in the media center. The teachers will present to the guardians while the students go on a bus ride, learn playground rules, and enjoy a snack.

PowerSchool Parent Portal system maintenance is complete, and we are excited to provide you with the following Back to School information:

✈️ Homeroom teacher (elementary) - Demographic Info tab
✈️ Bus information - Transportation tab

If you're still seeing a "disabled" or "information not available" message, proceed with clicking onto the School Information, Demographic Info, and Transportation tabs to view the information that has been released. Please be certain to review this information again before the first day of school (Sept. 1), in case of any updates.

Principals are expected to follow up with more building-specific information soon.

Wagar and high school students will receive their class schedules next week during Open Houses/Orientation. For a reminder of these dates, visit airportschools.com and view the "Upcoming Events" calendar.

Are your children growing out of their school clothing? 👕👖👗

In partnership with local volunteers, Airport Community Schools is hosting a FREE Clothing Giveaway for district families from 2-7 p.m. Friday, July 31 in the Wagar Middle & Junior High School Gymnasium.

The Airport Community Schools PowerSchool Parent Portal will be closed for System Maintenance beginning today, Monday, July 13.

Parent Portal will be unavailable for parents with CURRENT students, but will remain open to parents completing the registration of their NEW Airport student.

Parents wishing to begin the registration process for their new Airport student may still do so by following the instructions at this link: https://www.airportschools.com/en-US/student-registration-f934e840

The district will provide formal notice when the PowerSchool Parent Portal reopens for public use. Thank you for understanding!

Prepare for the 2026-27 School Year with our building and grade level-specific supply lists! ✏️📓🍎

Please note: Lists may vary between buildings. For example, the Kindergarten supply list at Eyler may slightly differ from the Kindergarten list at Ritter, so be certain to view your child's specific school for the most accurate information.

If you don't know your child's school building yet, we suggest starting with purchasing the supplies that are listed on all building lists, as there are many similarities.
