Our firbaby, Hope, is showing us here just how well behaved these dogs are with the littles. And how respectful the kiddos can be when dealing our 4 legged friends. There are strict rules and expectations laid out for all parties. Clearly defined and religiously adhered too. For the safety of any and all involved.

I sure am proud at how far these little guys and gals have grown. Their bonds and friendships they've created here at daycare are something very special. Its always a bittersweet day when they grow up and move on to school. This year we will be losing 2 of our "lifers" when they start kindergarten this upcoming school year. I already know, without a doubt, I am just gonna be an awful blubbering mess. Its always hard to kiss my babies goodbye that final time and wave goodbye with a smile while holding back those pesky tears cuz I know how excited they are going to be to be making this long awaited transition and how much fun they're gonna have. But I also know how quiet it will be around here for a bit and how much it will hurt my lil ole heart. I lose a tiny piece of my heart to each child, EVERY SINGLE TIME.

March 17th was St Patrick's Day. We had so much fun. We started with a book reading, with our breakfast, of Dr Seuss's, Green Eggs and Ham, and then they were served Green eggs and ham as well. That was funny. There was a little hesitation from the littles but they finally gave in and realized all was well. Lol we had some exciting crafting to do where they were able to channel their inner Picasso and I'd say that was pretty successful overall. Lunch was a request, directly from the goof troop. They requested biscuits and gravy. We'll I didn't have biscuits so I used croissants instead and made a sausage gravy. Then I had an epiphany. Let's go Green! Lol so I did♡ along with some green bell pepper slices with ranch (which I also turned green) lol and i threw in some of those left over scrambled eggs from breakfast (& yup, green) lo we played several games. And most importantly...we had fun and built some of those "memories" i work so hard to create for these guys! I also warned all the parents of the forthcoming toxic green poops that they might encounter as a side effect of our "green day!"

I have been food "uber"ed, ding d**g ditched (indoor baby version), or drive snatched, orrrr whatever the kiddos call that now a days... when u order food from the internet and somebody brings it to ur house and just leaves it there all unsupervised and such. Yeah, that! Whatever that's called!! I got that, today!! They said, "Noni, knock knock! (Giggle giggle) and ran off. This is what i found. They said its, "pizza, cake, and cereal!!!"

We found another rainy day challenge for these kiddos. This one provided quite the entertainment for not only the littles, but for myself and pop pop, as well. They reallllly were quite determined to land it. There were several moments where I held my breath or nearly shrieked aloud because I thought one of them was surely there BUT no such luck. Lots of close calls though. We'll definitely be doing this one again.
