We had the opportunity to tour the Caribou Tech Center and get a closer look at the programs, equipment, and hands-on learning opportunities available to students right here in our community!

It was great to see the skills students are developing and learn more about the resources and technical expertise available through the Tech Center.

Future careers start here! 💙

Cooperative Education is new to Caribou Tech this year! Through Co-Op, students connect classroom learning with hands-on experience and career exploration at local worksites. Most students are putting credentials they have already earned through Caribou Tech to use at their placements. Alongside JMG, they build skills in communication, job attainment, professionalism, and self-management, and apply those skills on the job.

Thank you to the Caribou Community School nursing staff for welcoming a Caribou Tech Co-Op student and giving her an opportunity to explore healthcare. These experiences help students discover their interests, build confidence, and plan their next steps.

We appreciate our community partners for sharing their time and knowledge and helping our students get started!

With sincere gratitude…

As we reflect on this year’s 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb, the Caribou Tech Center Criminal Justice and Fire Science Programs want to simply say thank you.

Thank you to every person who climbed.

Thank you to those who volunteered their time, donated, helped behind the scenes, encouraged our students, and showed up to support this important day.

And thank you to the Caribou Community School for opening your doors and allowing us to hold this meaningful event in your school.

Climbing 110 flights of stairs is physically challenging. But for many of us, the climb becomes something much more than a physical challenge. With every flight, we remember the 441 first responders who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 11, 2001.

We climb for the firefighters, police officers, EMTs, and other first responders who ran toward danger while others were running away.

We climb for the families who never got to see their loved ones come home.

And we climb because remembering matters.

For our Criminal Justice and Fire Science students, this event is also an opportunity to learn what service, courage, sacrifice, and community truly look like. We could not be more proud to watch them come together to honor those who came before them.

No words can fully express the gratitude we have for the men and women who gave their lives that day. But we can remember their names. We can tell their stories. And we can continue to honor their legacy.

To everyone who helped make this year's climb possible — thank you for helping us remember. Thank you for standing with us. And thank you for showing our students what it means to honor those who serve.

Until we climb again…

We remember.
We honor.
We will never forget.

🏆⭐ Congratulations, Mr. Daggett! ⭐🏆

We are proud to recognize Mr. Daggett as the very first recipient of the Caribou Tech Gold Star Trophy!

Mr. Daggett is being recognized for the outstanding way he has taken on the additional responsibility of our Career Academy program with positivity, flexibility, teamwork, and a willingness to jump in and figure things out.

He has also been working with Caribou Community School to provide saw safety training for middle school students, helping bring valuable hands-on learning to younger students.

Thank you, Mr. Daggett, for your positive attitude, willingness to help, and commitment to our students and Caribou Tech. You make our school a great place to be!

🍎 Learning Beyond the Classroom! 🌱

A big thank-you to MSAD #1’s Educational Farm for welcoming Caribou Tech Center’s Culinary Arts and Hospitality & Tourism students for a tour and, of course, some delicious fresh apples!

Experiences like this help students make connections between the classroom and the community while seeing firsthand where local food begins and how agriculture connects to the culinary and hospitality industries.

We’re proud to collaborate with MSAD #1 and provide our students with opportunities to learn, explore, and experience local industry firsthand.

🔧 Congratulations to our Automotive Technology students! 🚗

Our students recently completed Automotive Lift Institute's Lifting It Right course, gaining valuable, industry-aligned knowledge in the safe use of automotive lifts.

This is another step toward building the skills, knowledge, and confidence they’ll need for their future careers in the automotive industry.
