🏆 Congratulations to Matthew Nonken and Brayden Caldwell on an incredible achievement at the 2026 National JA Titan Challenge! 🏆

After winning the Northern Maine Regional Junior Achievement of Maine JA Titan Competition, Matthew and Brayden earned the opportunity to represent Maine on the national stage at Future Bound by Junior Achievement, held June 7–11, 2026, at Boston University in Boston, Massachusetts.

Accompanied by their Consumer Economics teacher, Mrs. Samantha Drost, the students joined some of the nation's brightest young business minds for a week of learning, networking, and competition.

The journey to nationals is no small feat. More than 2,500 JA Titan teams compete across the United States, and only 15 elite teams advanced to the National JA Titan Challenge.

Matthew and Brayden rose to the occasion, earning an outstanding 2nd Place National Finish! Their hard work, strategic thinking, teamwork, and business knowledge paid off as they brought home national recognition, Beats headphones, and $1,500 each in prize money.

We are incredibly proud of these young leaders for representing Caribou High School with excellence. Their success demonstrates what can happen when talent, determination, and opportunity come together.

The Caribou High School community would like to wish Brayden Caldwell and Matt Nonken the very best of luck as they represent our school at the Junior Achievement Future Bound National Titan Challenge Competition!

Through hard work, teamwork, critical thinking, and strong business decision-making skills, Brayden and Matt have earned the opportunity to compete against some of the top student teams from across the country. We are incredibly proud of their accomplishments and the outstanding way they represent Caribou High School and our community.

Caribou High School is proud to announce that Consumer Economics teacher Samantha Drost has been selected as one of only 100 educators nationwide to attend Stanford University's 2026 Personal Finance Teacher Training Institute.

The prestigious program provides five days of professional development focused on personal finance education, bringing together teachers from across the country to learn innovative classroom strategies and resources. Stanford University and the Hoover Institute cover all travel and program expenses.

This recognition highlights Drost's commitment to helping students build the financial knowledge and decision-making skills they need for future success.
