Working on seasonings today. I dehydrated some organic lemon peels then ground them up and added pepper. I also made some more Sriracha salt. I love the taste.

Elderberry syrup is a powerful boost for your immune system. I cooked down elderberries, fresh ginger, cinnamon sticks and whole cloves. After straining, I added manuka honey, then dehydrated the elderberries. I love to add the dried berries to a hot cup of tea.

Getting prepared for the flu season. I made a jar of Fire Cider. This will make a great immune booster in about 2 months!

Preserving eggs for the winter months when egg production goes way down. I washed the eggs, let them dry, then coated them with a thin coat of warm mineral oil. They will be good in the refrigerator for months.

I love my herb garden! It is so productive this year. The dehydrator has been running everyday. I've given away a ton, too.
