A Celebration of Beatrex Quntanna's amazing, inspiring and lovely life was held this past Saturday, May 16th at her home in Encinitas. We celebrated her with good food, mariachi music, and storytelling. We will dearly miss her. Here is a video that Amanda Sicard created with photos that were shared by friends and family. On Saturday, May 16th, under the fertile energy of the New Moon in Ta**us, we will gather to celebrate the magnificent life and transition of our dear Beatrex Quntanna.

As Beatrex taught us, this is a time of blooming and connecting to our own divinity. To honor that beauty, we are gathering from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM to share the joy, love, and laughter she planted in all of our lives.

A Night of Joy & Devotion
In true Beatrex spirit, we will celebrate with her absolute favorites: Mexican food and Mariachis. We invite you to remember the pure radiance in her eyes as she clapped and sang along with the band at her 80th birthday this past December—let’s bring that same vibrant energy to this circle.

This month is also overseen by the Goddess Lakshmi, whom Beatrex loved so deeply. Every year, she honored Lakshmi with an altar of gifts; in that same tradition, your presence is the greatest gift to her memory.

It is with heavy hearts and profound gratitude for her light that we share the news of Beatrex Quntanna’s transition. On Saturday, April 11th, at 6:45 PM, Beatrex completed her final waning and embarked on her next great journey.

As many moon lovers and watchers know, the waxing and waning of the moon is a constant in our universe. With the waxing comes light, and with the waning comes darkness—and in that stillness, a new cycle begins.

Over the last several years, Beatrex faced significant health challenges. Yet, even when confined to a wheelchair and enduring episodes of pain, her spirit remained unyielding. She always met the world with a smile that radiated warmth and a laugh that filled every room.

So many were touched by her profound intuition and her unique gifts. Through the books she authored, her poetry and the classes she taught, she shared her deep love of the moon, astrology, and the Tarot with generations of eager students. Her artistry also lived through her jewelry, where she transformed exotic crystals and stones into treasures that she sold, gifted, and shared with friends and family across the globe.

Beatrex leaves behind her beloved son, Chris, and her cherished grandchildren to whom she was known as “TuTu”. As she departs this earthly plane, we find comfort in knowing she is happily reunited with her son, William.

While we mourn the loss of our dear friend, mentor, mother, and grandmother, we celebrate the eternal light she left within all of us.

We’ve all been there. The universe is literally handing you a golden opportunity (or a fourth cup of divine insight), and you’re just sitting there like...

Sometimes the "Divine Discontent" of the 4 of Cups feels less like a spiritual plateau and more like receiving the wrong coffee order when you’re already having a day.

When we get stuck in "The Page of Petulance" energy, we’re so busy staring at the three cups we’ve already decided aren't good enough that we completely miss the miracle being hovered right in front of our faces.

Today’s Lesson: Check your "pumps" of judgment. Are you refusing a gift from the universe just because it didn't come with the exact topping you expected?
