The purpose of Trio Achievers is to keep their students connected with TRiO. We want to get involved and allow those who are no longer eligible stay involved with community, cultural, and education activities through the use of workshops and events. We want to build a group of students who will one day be innovators and go on to share their TRiO experience with other students. We would like to pro

vide a shoulder to lean on when times get rough, and build friendships that last forever. Foremost, we will seek to help dedicated students reach for their goals by offering our resources, knowledge and experience.

Today is the last day of The Hand That Feeds' NYC theatrical release. We had a good, solid theatrical run in New York, thanks to all of you who supported us in all kinds of ways since Kickstarter. Directors Robin Blotnick and Rachel Lears are currently on the flight to attend our Los Angeles premiere tomorrow--we hope we'll create as big of a stir on the West Coast as we did here! *This will be an opportunity for students to advocate for minority students, as well as learn more about services SIUC has to offer that will benefit students toward achieving a successful academic career.
