We love sharing the beauty of Southern Illinois with our global Salukis. This weekend, we had the opportunity to visit together the Cliff View Park at Alto Pass, Alto Vineyards, Rendleman flower fields and market, and the ice cream stand at Flamm Orchards. Students from 11 different countries had a great time exploring the country roads of our amazing region.

CESL students had a lot of fun cheering their host country today during the World Cup match. Although the US didn't win, we had fun waching the game with the SIU community and we even got to hang out with SIU's Chancellor!

We love sharing the energy of the 4th of July celebrations with our global CESL community. This year, we had students from 9 different countries join us as we celebrated US's 250th birthday 🥳

We are so proud of our CESL students 😊 During the last 3 weeks, they volunteered and interacted with many organizations around Southern Illinois. Their hard work on projects such as the Green Earth parking lot or sharing their culture at Kids Korner will have a positive impact on our global village for many years to come 🌎🌍🌏

We started our second Fall term strong! Our CESL students volunteered with Green Earth to carve amazing pumpkins and help during the Pumpkin Glow events. CESL faculty & staff had a lot of fun sharing this Fall tradition with our students from all over the world. We love our global community 🌎🌍🌏
