We were proud to host so many and their legacy students at our 6th annual Legacy Luncheon yesterday! It was a great opportunity for Salukis past and future to meet before the start of the fall semester at Southern Illinois University Carbondale.

We were also lucky to have Chancellor Austin A. Lane, Silkworm, Inc., and the Printing Plant LLC join us, along with some amazing local food from 17th Street Barbecue!

Congratulations to '94 alum Karie Friling, who was recently voted to serve as the next City Manager of Sarasota, FL. Friling will be the first woman to serve in the position.

Karie is a graduate of the College of Business and Analytics at SIU. She was selected following a rigorous national search, beating out over 80 other applicants!
