Hello everyone,
Every so often, I check in to ask for people to look in their homes for unused musical instruments. I am the band director for Lewis and Carbondale Middle School. So many of our families struggle with the rising costs of instruments, so any donations of instruments would be graciously appreciated. If you have an instrument to donate, please bring it to the office at Carbondale Middle School, and let the office workers know it is a donation to my attention. If you'd like to meet with me directly, please send me a DM.

Also, I work with the kids on music production and any music/sound stuff whether it be microphones/records/tapes/record players, etc. would be used as learning tools as well.

Asking for prayers for my JazzyCatt...once again she's become very lethargic and stiff...and when she meows its more of a low groan. Very wide eyed and just not herself. She had been getting iron supplements in her food because when this happened before, the blood tests showed severe enemia...but she's noticably "not well". In contact with our vet at Solid Rock to see what we should do.

Today my dad, Ford Lee Frick would have been 86 years old. It's hard to believe he's been gone 14 years. I think about him every day and I miss him. Attached is a pic with my dad and Mick "The Stick" Ritchison who passed away just a month ago. They were bandmates and friends...

Just found out the Mick “The Stick” Ritchison passed away a few days ago. He was a local drummer in a lot of bands including my dad’s group Ron And The Bossmen, after Brad Davis left to form the Dixie Diesels. He was always kind to me and he was my dad’s friend. He played on Big Larry’s album “Love You Till the End of Time” back in 2009. RIP Mickey.
