Dear friends. I've been living a new life! I'm playing music down on Pacific Ave in Santa Cruz and just loving it. I get to play when I want and what I want. I've been meeting a great group of people, and many new guitar players/songwriters. The big change for me was getting my Roland battery powered PA. It sounds great, and it's a breeze to set up. When will I be there? Often on Friday nights, but it could be anytime during the week. Or in other words, whenever I get the itch. See you soon.

Dear friends. I'm totally loving that so many of you have been visiting my very simple (and way out of date) site. Happy to say I've been quite busy, teaching guitar, doing vocal trainings, and lot's of songwriting with some wonderfully talented folks.
Best of all is that I have a great local studio to work in, with a great producer/engineer. We presently have four full CD projects in process. I'll be posting some of our tracks here in coming weeks. Until then....in the spirit of the music...

I have been absolutely loving writing with so many wonderful and different songwriters. We have created some great songs and done some recording as well. Promise to post some of these once they are further along. It’s becoming so much easier working with songwriters through Skype! What an amazing opportunity to write with songwriters all over the world. Looking forward to seeing where the next musical steps are.

For the last few weeks I've been songwriting here in Santa Cruz with Catty Pearson. Catty is a talented singer/songwriter who's come all the way from England so we could write together. (She has the most wonderful and proper English accent). I love helping Catty with her songs. It is such a rich experience, working on music that I would never otherwise think to write. It takes me to wonderfully unknown places, and I love hearing what Catty so casually does with her soft and floating vocal phrasing. I look forward to sharing her music with you.
