We mourn the recent passing of Dr. Gladys West, one of our most noted alums and a pioneering mathematician who helped shape modern GPS technology. She earned her undergraduate and master’s degrees from VSU and received an Honorary Doctorate in 2021. Her legacy will continue to guide and inspire generations of GREATER.
