63 years ago today 10 brave men took off from Dover, DE headed for the Azores.

They were never seen again.

We are proud to have located the plane ( by complete accident).

May their memory always be a blessing.

This is the Susan L. A world class scallop fishing vessel responsible for sharing the location of the 1963 C-133. Her captain David Wiscott is a true hero of this part of the story.

This is what a 275,000 pound 154' long x 179' wingspan C-133 cargo master aircraft looks like 165' down after 63 years

It's a sea floor littered with aircraft parts and yellow nylon cargo straps.

The crash landing must have been horrific.

Ground fishing, storms and a corrosive sea have taken their toll on this aircraft.

It's a miracle we found it and grateful for coordinates given by David Wiscott and scanning by Ben Roberts of Eastern Search & Survey.

The discovery and subsequent family connection has exceeded our expectation and literally changed people's lives ❤️

In 1963 a C-133 cargo master took off from Dover Air Force base headed to the Azores. It was never seen again. In a happenstance that can't be explained we happened upon the aircraft while looking for bronze cannons. Our friend and legendary scallop captain David Wiscott gave us some coordinates. The area was side scanned by ESS Ben Roberts. With the help of our team and research by Erik Petkovic and Ross Baxter we confirmed this was the 1963 plane.

Erik Petkovic located the family and organized this expedition

Today we were honored to take the families of both the pilot and the co-pilot to the wreck site.
