The annual Singer-Songwriter of Cape May Conference & Showcase returns on March 27 & 28, 2026 to historic Congress Hall & Harrison Conference Center and select live performance venues in downtown Cape May, New Jersey. SS Cape May normally features two afternoons of music business panels, keynotes, musician clinics, songwriting workshops, mentoring/demo listening sessions and performance critiques

at the historic Congress Hall Hotel & the Harrison Conference Center. SS Cape May celebrates new music and selected acts and artists will shine with night time showcase performances at select local venues. Past venues have included: Aleathea’s Restaurant at the Inn of Cape May, Cabana's On The Beach, Carney's & Carney's Other Room, Elaine's Dinner Theater, The Mad Batter, Fins Bar & Grille, 501 Beach @ The Marquis, Iron Pier Craft House, Phinney's Pub at Elaine's, Ugly Mug and Congress Hall's Brown Room, Boiler Room and Grand Ballroom. The local community is always invited to share in the celebration of independent artists at the SS Cape May showcase venues. All the venue showcase performances will be Free and Open to the Public. Most are 21&up venues after dinner hours.
