The Sismans are getting ready for the 5th Annual Dancing With Show Me Stars, on July 30th. We're working with five partnerships for this event, which is a fundraiser for Community Partnership of Southeast Missouri. An evening of performances, dancing, and dining will make an unforgettable event.

Tamatha McIntosh Crowson was recently practicing for the 5th Annual Dancing With Show Me Stars, when we decided to try something wild, called a "Neck Cartwheel".

*Aerials should only be practiced incrementally, and in a safe situation. No dancers were harmed in the creation of this video. :-D

*Aerials are only a SMALL PART of dancing. The quality and identifiability of the dance you're doing is better than any trick you could add to it.

Dancing With Show Me Stars is going to be full of surprises. Accept no imitations!

JALC Community Ed ballroom dancing classes begin Tuesday, June 7th at 211 East Boulevard Street, Marion, IL. Level Two will start at 6 PM, Level one will start at 7:30 PM.

Carbondale Parrish School Gym classes begin Thursday, June 9th, with Level One at 6 PM, Level Two at 7:30 PM.

Please DO NOT wear flip-flops, slides, platforms, stilettos, or other footwear not designed for activity. Sneakers with a worn sole, Roper-style boots, flats, dress-shoes are all more ideal, or you can purchase some "disposable" (they will last a semester, tops) dance shoes for pretty cheap.
