Student behavior is one of the most significant factors impacting instructional time, staff stress, and school climate. Whether in a general education classroom, special education setting, or the front office, adults need consistent, practical strategies for preventing, responding to, and managing challenging behaviors.

Behavior Blueprint is a full-day, interactive professional development experience designed to strengthen foundational classroom management, improve de-escalation skills, and build confidence in responding to challenging student behaviors across school settings. This training emphasizes proactive systems, adult regulation, and consistent responses across roles - ensuring that classrooms and offices operate with clarity, structure, and calm.

Participants leave with actionable tools, response scripts, prevention strategies, and a practical framework they can implement immediately.

About:
This one-day event, scheduled for October 2, 2026, is designed to immerse high school students and teachers in creative experiences with our faculty and students in the studios at the River Campus, Serena, the Grauel Building, and the Rust Center for Media. Students will learn new methods, techniques, and technologies and leave with unique hands-on experiences working alongside SEMO students and faculty. We also offer teachers the opportunity to participate in a workshop designed specifically for them.
