In honor of Prodigy's 18th year, we invited Prodigies from every era to get together to have a meal and celebrate the milestone.

We took a special moment to honor and remember our classmates who have stepped into eternity before us with a memorial tree planting and classic Prodigy-style worship. May it serve as a lasting reminder of the lives that have touched and will always be remembered.

2 Timothy 4:7 "I have fought the good fight, I have finished, the course, I have kept the faith"

Grandparents Day was the best turnout we've ever had! Many students had both sets of grandparents there, which made for an especially powerful multigenerational worship. Pastor Brandon McNair led the message and had grandparents find and pray over their grandchildren, which was such a powerful moment.

After that, grandparents joined their grandchildren in the classrooms for activities, and the high school did a life-reflection interview panel!

We are so grateful for how invested our families are in their children and grandchildren, because they're the greatest influence a child will ever have. A huge thanks to our PTO for hosting and making this event happen!

The Prodigy Bridge, our new homeschool hybrid program for grades 1–8, is up and going! Students meet for two half-days per week, getting the flexibility of homeschooling alongside the community of Prodigy. That includes encore programming like agriculture, art, PE, and Spanish, plus activities like worship and devotion.

This is part of our long-term development plan, and we could not be more excited to see it come to life. And a big thanks to our Bridge Directors, the Goninans.

One full week back! And students are already living out our vision: pursue God, love learning, value relationships, explore, serve, innovate.

Our teachers are in full swing of paying deep attention to each individual student to learn, "Who is this child? What is his/her ability level? What about interests?" That's because 18 years ago, God impressed on us: "Celebrate each one like I do." Like Russell says, we're on a treasure hunt — searching within each child to unlock the gifts God placed there. This is how education is meant to be.

Welcome back, Prodigy family. Year 18 starts now! 🎉

Eighteen years ago, Prodigy Leadership Academy started as a step of faith. Today, we watched a new class of students step onto our campus, and it's easy to see just how far God has brought us.

This year is special. In America, 18 is a coming-of-age year. Our school would be considered an adult now! This is a year where we get to look back at everything He's done, and lean forward into everything He's still going to do in and through our students.

We can't wait to see what this year has in store.
