Hello CMS Families!!! We are so excited to meet everyone tonight for orientation. Orientation will be from 4pm - 7pm.

This year the west doors to the lobby will be locked. (These are the doors on the same side of the building as our staff only parking). These doors will be for staff and disabled use only. Please enjoy our new driveway at the main entrance. If you park in the driveway ONLY park on the right side of the drive to allow cars to pass or drive through.

Make sure that you stop by the transportation tables for information on our new dismissal procedures.

On June 23 we had the opportunity to represent CMS at an incredible professional development conference. It was a fantastic day filled with new ideas, fresh perspectives, and innovative ways to inspire a passion for learning in both our students and fellow educators. A huge shoutout to Tyler Tarver for bringing the energy, enthusiasm, and motivation that helped reignite our passion during summer break, His message was a great reminder of the impact we have as educators and the importance of keeping learning engaging and meaningful. Thank you to Southeast Missouri State University for hosting this amazing conference each year and for investing in educators from across the region. We are excited to bring these ideas back to CMS and continue creating meaningful learning experiences for our students

We have continued our first full week of Summer School here at CMS with so many fun and hands-on activities!

From rainy day recess games and activities, to learning how to sew, bake, and showcase some serious woodworking skills, our students have been busy learning and creating. And last, but definitely not least, we've even had some dancing fun throughout the week!

Students are also getting hands-on experience with broadcasting, building communication skills and confidence while exploring new opportunities. We've even been teaching some "old school" fun by introducing students to marbles, and they have enjoyed creating their very own Summer School T-shirts Screen Arts Inc.

We are so proud of all the creativity, teamwork, enthusiasm, and learning happening throughout our building. Our students are truly making the most of their summer by trying new things, developing new skills, and making lasting memories every day.
