Kember The Therapy Dog

Kember The Therapy Dog Kember serves as the certified therapy dog for Central MS. She loves to snuggle & make people smile! My previous owner relinquished me to a shelter.

I was adopted through the Puppies for Parole program in April 2023. I showed the shelter workers my sweet personality, so they moved me to the Algoa Correctional Facility in Jefferson City where I received training by 2 inmates. Then my mama and her friend picked me up in April, and I began more obedience training at K9 Training Center in Jackson. I completed my therapy dog certification testing

and began working at Central Middle School. I love the students and staff and am so happy to be a Cape Central Tiger!
