Dr. Dudley from the Southeast Missouri State University Department of Nursing stopped by to lead the annual stitching laboratory for the Master of Science in Athletic Training Students. This is Dr. Dudley's 4th year leading this laboratory and learning experience. It is always a joyful and hands-on learning day.

Looking forward to the next time!

Thank you to Caroline and Brian from SEMO Physical Therapy for discussing their athletic training regional employment opportunities and business culture with the Southeast Missouri State University Master of Science in Athletic Training students.

The discussion gave the athletic training students a local company perspective about the demand for athletic trainers in the Missouri and surrounding communities.

The Southeast Missouri State University Southeast Missouri Football athletic training staff, along with some and Master of Science in Athletic Training students, traveled to Lindenwood University for the Game Ball Brawl game.

Besides providing the medical support to return the Game Ball Brawl trophy back to Cape Girardeau, the most valuable asset was the learning experience gained throughout the day and their clinical rotation.

This is only the start of the SEMO Football OVC season.

The Southeast Missouri State University Master of Science in Athletic Training Students finished the pre-fall break week with some learning activities and laboratories where they learned and practiced football spatting and the SCOAT6 concussion evaluation.

We have been meaning to get these activities in, and right before seemed like the perfect time!
