A dismissal reminder, families with students at both Central Middle School & Alma Schrader, we highly encourage you to pick up your elementary student first. CMS is implementing a new car line pick-up procedure this year, which may cause a few short delays during this first week while they get the new routines down.

New Staff Spotlight!

"My name is Abby Sage, and I am honored to be your new library media specialist at Alma Schrader! I’ve worked in academic and public library spaces, and now I’m ready to settle down and make this school my home.

After earning my Bachelor's degree in Cello Performance at SEMO, where I started library work at the Arts Resource Center, I went on to earn my Master's in Library Sciences and a Certificate in Youth Services from Florida State University.

Now I am ecstatic to be teaching about books, computers, and media literacy in the same district where my husband is teaching beginning strings and orchestra. In addition to reading (of course!), my hobbies include art, playing with my cats Inky and Gemma, and traveling. My favorite children’s books include Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events, The Two Princesses of Bamarre by Gail Carson Levine, and Sideways Stories from Wayside School by Louis Sachar."
