The Learning Assistance Programs will be closed for Spring Break from March 7th through March 15th. We will resume our normal hours on Monday, March 16th.

Meet Aakriti!

Aakriti Poudel is originally from Nepal and is currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, with minors in Physics and Mathematics. She is expected to graduate in May 2026 and is passionate about using her analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to tackle real-world challenges.

Outside of academics, she enjoys going on long walks, spending time in nature, traveling to new places, and listening to music. Her curiosity, dedication, and well-rounded interests make her a thoughtful and motivated individual both inside and outside the classroom.

Tyler is a Finance student at SEMO who enjoys helping others understand economics and finance in a clear, approachable, and stress-free way. He focuses on breaking down complex concepts into simple steps so students can build confidence and succeed in their courses.

Whether it’s budgeting, financial analysis, or economic theory, Tyler is always happy to support students in reaching their academic goals.
Outside of academics, he enjoys traveling, reading, and running to stay balanced and motivated.

Rusan is originally from Nepal, famously known as the home of Mt. Everest 🏔️. Since moving away from home, he has discovered a passion for cooking—what started as a necessity has become one of his favorite ways to relax and unwind. 👨‍🍳

When he’s not in the kitchen, you might find him enjoying one of his favorite shows, Friends—he’s watched the entire series four to five times without missing a single episode! 📺✨

LeBrea is one of our amazing Graduate Assistants here at LAP. She’s a Cybersecurity major from Jackson, MO, and oversees our satellite labs in Math, HCBC, and Polytech. 💻📚

When she’s not helping students, you can find her crocheting, gaming, reading, or spending time with her adorable Yorkshire Terrier, Eli 🐾. Fun fact: she’s currently working on a crochet sampler blanket with many different stitches! 🧶💙
