Hello Members, please find an updated class schedule for Fall/Winter 2026/2027 Class Schedule. Classes are filling up quickly! Sign up for your favorite class or something new you want to try, either online www.capecoralartleague.org or feel free to call the office.

Also, changes for this year include:
- Membership single $60
- Membership Family up to 4 people $70
- Open Painting non-members $7

Apologize in advance for the price changes mentioned above not being reflected below. Please bear with us as we work through system changes that are out of our control.

Greetings Everyone...
Just a Little Student Sunday Update...
I spoke with our beloved Children's Director and Student Sunday Teacher recently...Rod (Gloria) Rodriguez...after much thought and contemplation on her part...Rod has decided to retire from teaching at the Art League...it's been 5 years since I placed our kids in her hands and it has been a pleasure to have her leading that charge and the kids...She has been so connected with the kids, and sure hates to leave...this is a hard decision for her...and I sure understand...But we all are getting older and you always know when it's time...for a new path... Rod would love to fill in now and again if needed, but the trip from Labelle has just become too much...

So, it's time to pass the reins to 1 or 2 new brave souls who want to teach the kids and who would like to share the classes each month...each teaching 2 Sunday's a month and share in the profits of a 60/40 split...Sharing the burden makes sense and leaves everyone with more free time as well...If you are that person or persons ...please contact me at
the office, 239-772-5657 and I can give you further details on the openings...
The kids are always fun to work with and I can tell you...I took over for Barbara Magner when she left...Mark and I did it for 3 years till Rod took over...its 3 hrs. and the kids are so excited to learn and share...It's a really a great class...You will feel like you really made a difference and helped create the next generation of art lovers...and that's good for all of us, including the kids and the planet....

Greetings All,

It's that time again...Reminders...Summer went fast It feels...Now back to Arting....Hope Everyone is well rested and ready to begin again...

The League officially opens again on September 8th...the Tuesday after Labor Day...This week... the hours are...
Tuesday to Thursday 11 to 4...Next week...the week after...Monday thru Thursday...11 to 4 as usual...
If you haven't already signed up for Fall Classes....All Classes begin in October...The schedule will be sent out next week for those of you who need a refresh... So please look for it...Also...If you have moved, changed email addresses or phone numbers...please let the office know of your update...I wish we could, but we aren't mind readers....so it's up to you to let us know...

We have 2 new Teachers...Patty Sole is back among us and will be teaching on Thursdays...
Intermediate/Advanced Oil and Acrylic....12:30 to 3:30...$70 .00 members and $90 non-members....

Also, Julie Tibus will be teaching on Monday's...October...12,19,26...Watercolor Techniques... 9:30am to 12:00pm... $80.00 members and $ 95.00...Other dates to be determined...Julie Tibus really isn't really new...she's been here since last year...did a workshop and has entered some of our Gallery Show...A fantastic Artist with a lot of knowledge to share...So if Watercolor is your thing...Please check out her class...
All the regulars are here as well...Pat St Onge...Sharon Gajajiva...Leslie McNeil...Donna Cole...Jack Collins...Dennis Morton...and Carmen Sprague...

Membership has changed...$60 for a single member and $75 for a family of up to 4...
The Website is being updated on everything so please be patient with the office...the 1st couple of weeks is always dramatic...
if you see a mistake on the website...let the office know...and please know ...we are doing our best...so thanks for that...
Finally...Open Painting begins again September 2nd...1 to 4...We will see all those die hards on Wednesdays again...

I hope everyone's Summer was a delight and helped you all relax and refresh...I know we did at my house...been a tough year...
for us...Just happy to be standing and looking forward to some joy and fun arty moments...Still a lot to be Thankful for....

July/Aug Update

Greetings ...Just wanted to remind everyone of the July/August time frame...

Open Painting runs thru the end of July and will be on hold the month of August....for Maintenance... So we will be closed in August...
If you haven't already done so...Start signing up for fall classes...Some classes are filling up fast...and if there is a class you really like...You may miss out...

Also...Membership will be going up to $60.00 for a single member and $75.00 for a family membership of up of 4...Sept 1st...

Summer is flying by...I hope everyone is having fun and will come back in the fall refreshed and renewed...
As always.... Emails are checked daily and phone messages are checked on a regular basis...so let me know if anyone needs anything...I will be on Vacation the next 2 weeks...Judy Calla and Patsy Dautle will be at the helm...You all are in good hands...
