Gulf Middle School

Welcome to Gulf 6th graders! For our planners, 6th grade orientation will be July 30th from 9:30 AM-12:00 PM.

-students will learn about Gulf
-meet the 6th grade team
-meet and engage with your peers
-learn about the 6th grade academy
-take a scavenger hunt
-pizza party with your peers

Please note, students will receive their schedule at our Open House on August 6th.

A meet-and-greet informational meeting will be held in the media center for 6th grade parents from 11:00 AM-12:00 PM to acclimate to Gulf culture, ask questions, and meet fellow parents!

We know summer just started, but we're already excited to see our students next school year! For planning purposes, please save the date on our open house!

For those who cannot make it, no worries! Students will be able to pick up their schedule on the first day of school.

PBIS day has been a new add-on this year! At the end of the quarter, students work on interventions that can be assessed toward their classes or students passing their classes and have no referrals attend an enrichment class hosted by a teacher including crafts, cooking, karaoke, games, sports, reading, and coloring.

Students with referrals get support reviewing classroom skills and expectations and work through problem-solving skills.

We look forward to growing this event at Gulf Middle!

Our annual dodgeball tournament was a fun success! We have some athletic students who brought their game across all grades!

Teachers took on the student class and held their own, in the end, the 8th grade team was victorious!

Our 7th graders continue to make us proud with all their hard work! We can’t wait to see you represent Gulf as the leaders of school next year! Congratulations on all your hard work and accomplishments!

Celebrating lots of academic success in our 6th graders! Transitioning to middle school can be a challenge, and you all are doing it beautifully! Keep up the wonderful work, can’t wait to continue to see your achievements!

What an absolutely SPLASH-tastic day! Some came for the field, some came for the water, either way it was a total blast! Everyone soaked up the fun and sun!

Slip-n-slide races were had, footballs were thrown, teachers were dunked, food was eaten, and of course there was sliding! We captured so many pictures of fun, sportsmanship, and of course, splashes.

Thank you to our volunteers, teachers, and staff, we are so appreciative of your support, and couldn’t make days like this possible without you!

6th and 7th Grade took on Busch Gardens!!

Coaster and animal lovers alike had a great time at Busch Gardens! Field trips are some of the best ways to build camaraderie among peers, practice independence, and of course, have FUN!

We love opportunities for learning in and out of the classroom!
