Who knew math could be so fun?! Mrs. Lane did!

Students played math survivor in Mrs. Lane’s class. They were given one question at a time and had to figure out the answer and get rid of the wrong answers until their was one answer left.

This activity:
1. Helped students practice their math skills.
2. Helped students check their work and eliminate common mistakes in answers.
3. Made learning fun!

Learning can be fun, learning can be always. We encourage you to ask your student(s) about the Constitution and have discussion as a family about the “Supreme Law of the Land”.

Loving basketball season and watching our students grow and improve. Education is important across all settings and we’ve watched our students get better each game.

Being a part of a team teaches students collaboration, trust, teamwork, and dedication. We encourage all our students to try out for a team, even if it’s new. Middle school is the time for athletic foundations to take root and grow. You never know what you might want to continue to pursue!

Gulf Middle has a thriving PBIS program due to our amazing community who supports our students and staff.

Here are some of the things PBIS supports:

-rewarding students without referrals for the week on Fridays with our pod point cart.
-snacks and give back cart for teachers
-quarterly enrichment days for students
-student and teacher competitions (ping pong, dodgeball, volleyball).
-recess/lunch on the pavilion
