Ms. Monique understood the assignment this weekend! 🐑 She dressed as a shepherd, brought Sheepie back for a visit, and had the kids completely engaged. We love leaders who go the extra mile to make Bible stories come alive and help kids connect with Jesus in a memorable way. Way to go, Ms. Monique!

Fair warning: serving in CapeKids may cause excessive smiling, random dance moves, unforgettable conversations, and a deeper love for the next generation.
Seriously though, there is no place we’d rather spend our weekends. We get to have fun, build relationships, and point kids to Jesus.
If you’ve been thinking about serving, this is your sign. Come hang with us. We saved you a spot. 💙

There is something beautiful about childlike wonder.
Kids aren’t afraid to ask questions, believe big things, celebrate small victories, and trust what Jesus says is true. They see the world differently.
That’s why it shouldn’t surprise us that Jesus said we need to become more like them.
Every weekend in CapeKids, we’re reminded that faith isn’t about having all the answers. It’s about trusting the One who does.
May we never lose our sense of wonder, our excitement for what God can do, or our childlike faith in Jesus. 💙
See you this weekend!

One of our favorite “problems” to have in CapeKids… when our K-1 crew is so full of kids that we have to stay in the auditorium instead of heading back to our usual room! Every kiddo in that room is a life being impacted by Jesus. Every laugh, every worship song, every Bible story is an opportunity for a child to grow in their faith and learn just how much God loves them.
Watching more and more families walk through our doors each weekend is something we never want to take for granted. God is doing incredible things in CapeKids, and we are so grateful to be part of it. The room may feel a little crowded, but our hearts are overflowing. 🧡💙

One of the coolest things about serving in kids ministry is seeing students come back to serve themselves after moving on to our student ministries which are 6-12. 🙏🏼 Lately though, we’re seeing more and more kids wanting to step up and serve before they even move on. It’s so cool watching them catch the vision and want to be part of what God is doing.
Even better? Seeing whole families serving together all across campus. Parents in one ministry, kids serving in another, everyone using their gifts to point people to Jesus.
Makes this ministry heart so happy.

What an incredible day in CapeKids! Today we celebrated as one of our students took a huge step in her faith journey and was baptized! There is nothing more exciting than watching kids choose to follow Jesus and publicly share their faith with others.
We are so proud of this brave decision and grateful for her family, leaders, and friends who have helped point her toward Jesus along the way.
Join us in celebrating this special moment and praying for her as she continues to grow in their relationship with Christ!
“All of heaven celebrates when one person turns to God.” ❤️
