# # # 📚 FLORIDA PARENTS — IF YOUR CHILD PLANS TO ATTEND A FLORIDA PUBLIC UNIVERSITY, SAVE THIS!

If you have a high school student who is even *thinking* about college in Florida someday, this is worth a look. 👀⬇️

The chart below breaks down the **2025–26 admission cycle for all 12 Florida public universities** and shows the **middle 50% of admitted students** for GPA, SAT, ACT and CLT scores — with the ranges broken down by summer and fall admission.

And before someone says, “But my child’s GPA is higher/lower than that…” 👇

**These are recalculated core GPAs, NOT necessarily the GPA you see on your child’s high school transcript.**

The “middle 50%” is a great way to get a general idea of where your student currently falls compared with students who were admitted. It is **not a guarantee of admission or rejection**, but it can be a very helpful benchmark when setting goals.

And look at those SAT ranges! 😳

For example, the chart shows fall middle-50% SAT ranges of approximately:

🎓 **FGCU:** 1070–1240
🎓 **FAU:** 1100–1280
🎓 **UCF:** 1310–1430
🎓 **USF:** 1260–1410
🎓 **FSU:** 1370–1460
🎓 **UF:** 1390–1510

That’s a BIG range depending on the school your student has their sights set on.

The chart also gives you information about **application types, essays, recommendation letters, transcripts/self-reporting and whether schools accept SAT/ACT/CLT superscores.**

And here’s my biggest takeaway as a tutor:

👉 **Don’t wait until senior year to start caring about the SAT.**

A student who starts early has time to identify weak areas, learn the strategies, practice consistently and take the test more than once without the pressure of “I have to get my score NOW.”

After sharing the incredible June SAT results, I wanted to send a quick reminder that there are only THREE full weeks of summer left before many students head back to school.

If your student still has summer sessions to schedule, now is the time to grab those remaining appointments. I will be transitioning to my back-to-school schedule soon, and I want to make sure current families have the opportunity to secure their preferred weekly tutoring spot before my calendar fills.

For families with upcoming juniors and seniors, this is especially important.

The August SAT is just over a month away, making these next few weeks the ideal time for focused preparation. If your student is planning to apply through Early Action or Early Decision, this first SAT score could play a significant role in their college application timeline. Giving yourself the best opportunity now can reduce stress later in the fall.

The June SAT results were a great reminder of what consistent, targeted practice can accomplish:

Students increased their scores anywhere from 20 to 180 points.

One student reached their Bright Futures Scholarship goal with a 180-point increase after five months of focused preparation.

Another student achieved a 60-point increase in just three tutoring sessions, also earning the score needed for Bright Futures.

Whether your student needs SAT prep, wants to strengthen foundational skills, or simply wants to start the school year with confidence, I'd love to help them finish the summer strong.

It's hard to believe we're already halfway through summer!

First, I want to thank all of the families who have been consistently attending summer sessions. We've had a fantastic summer filled with academic growth, confidence building, and even some fun along the way!

This summer, students have been:

* 📚 Preparing for the SAT with targeted strategies and practice
* 🧠 Strengthening foundational math and reading skills
* 📅 Learning organization and study skills that will make the transition back to school much smoother
* 🚀 Previewing next year's curriculum to get a head start before August
* 🎲 Enjoying interactive learning activities and games that make tutoring engaging and enjoyable

I've also welcomed many new students this summer, and my school-year schedule is already beginning to fill.

This is a friendly reminder that **current students are required to complete a minimum of 8 summer tutoring sessions to maintain their weekly tutoring time during the school year.** This policy helps ensure students continue making progress while allowing me to fairly accommodate the growing number of families on my schedule.

FAST B.E.S.T. Math scores are starting to roll in and I am SO incredibly proud of my tutoring students!! 📈🎉

Watching students grow in confidence, tackle difficult concepts, and see their hard work reflected in their scores is honestly one of my favorite parts of what I do.

These scores represent:
✔️ Consistency
✔️ Perseverance
✔️ Growth mindset
✔️ Lots of practice and problem solving

And for many students, they also represent overcoming years of saying:

Quick SAT Workbook Program update! 📚✨

I’m currently working with **4 students + my daughter** using this system, and it’s been amazing to watch the progress already happening.

We’ve been focusing on **consistent, targeted practice**—and it’s paying off. My daughter alone has now completed **340 practice questions** 😳💪 Talk about commitment!
