Now that recital weekend has come and gone, we’re looking back at some of the moments that happened in between the performances. The smiles backstage, the excitement before going on stage, the hugs, the laughter, the costume changes, and the memories made with friends and family are all part of what makes recital season so special.

This year’s colorful journey was filled with so many precious moments, and these photos capture just a small glimpse of the fun. From bright costumes and vibrant backdrops to candid snapshots with the people who make dance feel like home, every picture tells a story.

While the performances may only last a few minutes, the friendships, memories, and experiences created throughout the season stay with us long after the final bow. We loved watching our dancers shine, celebrate one another, and enjoy every moment of this incredible weekend.

From arriving early to help set up, checking tickets, monitoring doors, selling concessions, checking dancers in, lining up performers backstage, helping children get recital-ready, and countless other tasks behind the scenes; you were an essential part of making this event a success.

Online ticket sales close at 8:00 AM tomorrow morning, but tickets will still be available at the door for an additional cost.

We have two shows this year! one at 1:00 PM and the second at 6:00 PM. Online ticket sales will close Saturday morning at 8:00 AM, but tickets can still be purchased at the door.

Bouquets must be pre-ordered by Saturday morning, but we will also have a limited number of bouquets available for purchase on-site while supplies last!

Tickets for both recital shows are on sale right now. They will remain on sale online until show day, May 30th at 8:00AM.

After that, tickets may be purchased at the door for an additional $5 each.

• North Fort Myers Academy for the Arts at 1856 Arts Way, North Fort Myers, FL 33917

- Show 1 (Matinee) starts at 1:00 pm
- Show 2 (Evening) starts at 6:00 pm

• Theater doors will open no earlier than 30 minutes before the show begins
