Our Thursday Full-Day classes are so much fun! ☀️ Yesterday’s weather was so beautiful that we stayed outside an extra 15 minutes during our first break. We love having the flexibility to give our kids—and everyone in our classes—a little extra time to play and enjoy the fresh air together! The kids ran and ran and ran and ran (you get the idea 😀), playing freeze tag during every break.

Join us for a full day of hands-on learning, creativity, and time with friends. Each day includes five enrichment classes, outdoor time, and a lunch break.

A few more pictures from our Tuesday classes!

During Reading Workshop, the students were completely immersed in one of their spelling activities.

In Science Lab, we examined mung beans and flower parts 🌱 under magnifying glasses. 🔬The afternoon rain kept us inside, so we didn’t get to plant our aloe vera plants—but we’ll try again next week!

Our older students in Build It faced quite a challenge while connecting the electrical components needed to make flashlights. Most of them kept at it—stripping wires, clamping connectors, and securing connections—until their lights finally came on when they flipped the switches! 🔦

The Baseball game in Math Club has been a big hit—a GRAND SLAM, you might say! ⚾

It’s another game we created here at Homeschool Extras. Students split into two teams, with one team batting and the other in the outfield. Players go head-to-head answering flashcards, and their answers determine whether the play results in a hit, an out, or a walk. After three outs, the teams switch sides!

Our Monday and Tuesday students have really been having a ball with it—and practicing their math facts at the same time!
