Hey Music Families,

Mr. Fish has made the itinerary for tonight's game and was posted to all students. Unfortunately, the seniors can not join us in the band room or ride the bus with us since they have graduated, but we are hoping some of them join us in the stands on their own to show support! It is also a chance for any kids (they need to speak with Mr. Fish) to join us that may be thinking of joining Marching Band next season.

Call time is 4:15pm and boosters will be there to provide pizzas, snacks, and drinks prior to leaving. Make sure kids bring money if they want to visit the concession stand during the game or bring their own food to tie them over through the night.

Again, Mr. Fish sent all families an email with details on what to wear, times, etc.

I only have a few of us signed up to be chaperones at tonight's game. So if you are new and interested in joining us please reach out, as we would love to have you. It really is a lot of fun!

NOTE: Marching Band summer camp will soon be coming up in July. So stay tuned for more information. Leadership positions are in the works! I included the new director (Mr. Grubb) in this email as well in case any parents wanted to reach out to him about summer Band Camp or next season. I believe he will be at tonight's game as well!

Hello,

I wanted to give you all some updates on the Spring Football game this Friday, May 26.

The dress is Blue Marching Band Shirts and Black shorts, black socks and dinkles. We have opened the game up to all Music department members that might be interested in joining the Marching Band. For those that do not own the items above a Blue Baker shirt (Or any Royal Blue) will work fine. Please see me if you have any additional questions.

Call time is 4:15 PM This will give us time to time to review some stand tunes and make the 2023-2024 Marching Band Leadership announcements.

5:20 PM We will load the bus and trailer

5:30 PM we will leave to head to gateway

6:30 PM Arrival and unload and cadence into the stadium

7:00 PM kick-off

9:00 PM Load Bus

9:45 PM Arrive at Baker and unload

10:15 PM Dismissal

We need 3 parent volunteers and would love to see some new faces out :)

We can never have too much help!

Hello Music Families,

We just wanted to thank everyone who was able to make it to last night's end-of-year banquet. Thank you also for any food or drink items you may have brought or any help in setup or cleanup at the end of the night.

It was so nice to have the whole department there and to be able to see all their accomplishments. It was also nice to be able to say goodbye to our seniors and also to Mr. Fish! We wish you all the best in your new chapters that are about to begin!

We will begin to take Senior Families off of this email list once the year is over. We still have a spring game coming up and I know there are some seniors that may still like to join us. So stay tuned! That spring game is on Friday, May 26th at Gateway High School at 7pm (call time 4:45pm). Check Mr. Fish's calendar for any updates.

Hi everyone! Just a reminder that the Music Booster Banquet is Monday evening at 6:30 in the Bistro, just outside the music room. Please RSVP to the sign-up genius and let us know what you’ll bring.

Also, due to time & space constraints, the administration has asked us to limit the event to current students and their family. If any alumni wish to say goodbye to Mr. Fish please contact him directly during the school day.

Hello again!

Just wanted to let everyone know how we did on our last No Cook Night of the season! See results below! Thank you to all who participated on each of the two nights we did blaze to meet our minimum in sales!

It looks like things went well. The most recent event reach $315 in sales to qualify for the donation. I will combine those sales with the $177 from the previous event for a total of $492. The 20% donation will be for $98.

I will submit the check request today and the check will be mailed out this week.

Glad to see it went better.
