I don't have to go far from my home office to see a handful of my past projects.
Pictures 1 and 2 are of a driveway for the guys big gates leading to his giant extra two lots. This is 4 streets from my place.
Picture 3 is a house I did in the early 1990's for Gulf Wind Homes. This house was built some 3 or 4 years before we built our home in 1995. It is 3 streets North of our street. It was named The Windsor Key Model.
Picture 4 is of another Gulf Wind home. Gulf Wind Homes was a division of Gulf Coast Homes of Lee County, Inc. whom I worked for from 1986 - 1997. This is a picture of the owners' brothers vacation home he built for his Cape Coral, Florida vacation home sometime around 1991, 1992. He lived (and currently still does) in Canada. It was named The Cedar Key Model.
Picture 5 is of a (somewhat) newer house I designed that was built by Costa Bella homes about 6 or 7 (or so) years ago named the Sanibel Model. It's approximately 10 or 11 streets Northeast of my place.
Picture 6 is of a custom home I designed for Dieter Fiebig some 20 plus years ago. It is built 13 streets North of my place. Ironically Dieter built a house that I designed in the early 1990s, perhaps the late 1980s with Gulf Coast Homes of Lee County, Inc. The model he built back then was named the Silver Shadow.
And finally picture 7 is of our home (today) in Cape Coral, Florida. I designed it in 1994 (old hand drawings, no computers back in those days, quite yet) we moved in in January of 1995.

Introducing the all new redesigned Cabbage Key 433.
Where else can you find a 4 bedroom, 3 bath home with an additional Den/Study that can be used as a 5th bedroom option under 2,000 square feet of A/C living area? This design offers an oversized 3 car garage along with a giant Lanai at 15'-4" deep. Most Lanai's are ten or 11 feet deep, maximum. This plan also offers high flat ceilings throughout the Entry, Den/Study, Foyer, Great Room, Dining Room and Kitchen and 9'-4" flat ceilings at Bedrooms, Laundry Room and Bathrooms. The construction drawings will be done this week and it'll be available for purchase on 9-7-26.
Remember all plans in my plan book are available for immediate purchase that can be ready on the same day you order one or more than one so long as you buy the plan(s) "As Is" (no changes) the fees are 50% less than those of a custom designed plan that can take up to 6 weeks or more to prepare. My plans are "Tried and True" and I encourage everyone to buy them As Is. It saves a lot of time and a lot of money. Saw Omar the painter today out at the San Carlos Island project. He'll be applying at least one more coat of paint before it's done. I think those exterior doors at ground level need to be "U.S. Flag Red". I've attached a picture of my house that has the signature red door painted by, you guessed it.....Omar.

In the mid 1980's this house was built by Gulf Coast Homes of Lee County, Inc. I know because I designed and illustrated it. I was the lead designer and senior employee. This model was called The Continental Mark 7. It was a very popular model. The signature decorative wood rafters, wood beam and front column at the front entry of this model almost always got removed over the years because the wood beam and rafters always rotted away.
Fast forward some 40 years and I just designed and illustrated the new house to the right being built. This model is one of my biggest selling, most popular models called the Captiva. Keep watching for progress pictures. The site is on Stratford Street in Cape Coral, Florida.

The Fiebig residence in Cape Coral, Florida that was completed in May of 2015. I designed this house from sketches I put together with a "Sharpie" on some sketch paper while meeting with the client. Yep, that's a bidet in the master bathroom. This Client was German and bidets are very common in Europe. This was about the last year I used arch top windows. I don't miss them but they look pretty good on this design. If I were to "update" this design today there would be all square top windows.
A fun fact about this client was that some 25 years prior to 2015, around 1990 he built a house with Gulf Coast Homes of Lee County where I was senior employee and lead designer/draftsman. Yes I designed that house too. Later, after this house in 2015 I designed several other houses that he sold as spec houses.

The Levins residence from 2013-2014 that I designed and was built on Captiva Island, Florida. Captiva Island and North Captiva Islands are separated by Red Fish Pass. They are barrier islands of the Lee Island Coast in Lee County, Florida. Captiva Island you can drive a car to but North Captiva is accessible by boat or small airplane only. This was an all wood pile and wood frame house that has "Conventional Frame" roof rafters built on site instead of pre-engineered wood roof trusses that come from a truss manufacturer. I thought I'd rerun these photos since it's been 12 years ago that this house was complete.

BTW.....
This house sustained minimum damage from Hurricane Ian in September 2022 considering it is only 2,000 feet from the Gulf and 200 feet from Pine Island Sound which is a large Bay. It was reported to me from the owner that the damage costs did not exceed $30,000.00.
