Five Star Drafting Inc.

Five Star Drafting Inc. will no longer accept checks from this bank. I had a corporate account with this bank like four or five years ago for ONLY 9 months before I'd had enough. They gave me flack when I tried to cash my own check there while I had an account with them. Then they closed all of their drive in lanes (all the branches in my area) where I no longer had that convenience. There were a few other reasons, at that time that made me change banks for my corporate account. Now fast forward to today. A client wrote me a check to my name, not my company. I just said, no problem I'll go to Bank of America and cash it and get the cash for my petti cash drawer, all's good. Nope! Bank of America wouldn't cash the check. I said ok, I've had this happen before and said how about you calling my customer who is your customer for variation BUT they said NO! We cannot make or accept a phone call from him. So I left the bank. I called my client, and he said IDK what's going on, it's my corporate account where there is plenty of money to cover the $1,000.00 check. The client just called me back and said he had to jump through hoops and loops but he was able to get that particular branch to put a note on the account to let William Ford cash all checks from now on. Now I gotta go back over there where I plan on "Pleasantly" letting them know that I never plan on stepping foot in a Bank of America again (after this time, today) According to my client, he had the bank transfer him to their fraud department where they couldn't find anything wrong with his account. And "Oh! were sooooo sorry this happened please send Mr. Ford back in and we'll accommodate him".

The concrete grade beams have been poured at the Lagoon Street Project in the town of Fort Myers Beach, Florida.

I did a little walk through of the San Carlos Island project today. The one picture showing the stairs from atop the landing looking down shows the 5'-0" rear setback from the seawall. These (one time) mobile home lots are very narrow and not so deep so, this particular site allows for a minimum of 5'-0" setbacks on all four sides which is almost unbelievable. Some pictures show the awesome water views from the rear porch. One of the pictures shows the elevator shaft. Yep, an elevator in this small of a home. How awesome is that? The house is starting to look like the color artist's rendition. Remember, I'm designing several of these cottage style homes throughout the area. I have the one going up in St. James City (Pine Island) Florida and several slated to start construction on Pine Island.

The Lagoon Street Project is getting off to a good start. All the piles have been driven (Some as deep as 40+ feet)
The form boards for the grade beams are being installed. This is a massive three story luxury home being built in the town of Fort Myers Beach, Florida.
This house will be bigger, taller and more pretty than the white one in the background. This is my biggest home I've ever designed at just over 10,000 square feet of total area. This house will be HUGE. Keep watching and following because I'll be taking lots and lots of pictures as it's going up. The four car, stand alone garage on Nicholas Parkway in Cape Coral Florida is nearing completion. Now you see the new "sweeping" driveway and the matching stucco design with the coach light I talked about previously. Looks like they just need some garage doors installed, a little fascia work and sod put down and this project will be complete. I design a lot of detached and attached garages of all kinds of varieties. So if you're looking to build one on your site give me a holler and I'll get you fixed up just like this customer.

The San Carlos Island project is moving along, now real nicely. It's all dried in now and the windows have been installed. This project is no more than a mile away from the start up of the new project on Lagoon Street.

Looks like Island Piling has found another Five Star Drafting Inc. project.
There are just a few pile driving companies in the area and Island Piling is at the top.
This is the Lagoon Street 3 story, luxury, private residence that is in the heart of the town of Fort Myers Beach, Florida. Lagoon Street is directly across from Lynn Hall Memorial Park where the iconic Fort Myers Beach fishing pier and bathhouse is being rebuilt after being destroyed in Hurricane Ian on September 28th, 2022. This project is just getting started so keep following and watching for progress pictures. Future references will be labeled as the "Lagoon Street Project".

The framers are on the San Carlos Island project. Floor, walls and roof. The stairs will be completed by Monday 7-13-26. There's the builder on the job, Thomas McCullers of Thomas McCullers Construction. Keep following for updated photos

They were working on removing the forms for the formed and poured solid concrete tie beams today at the San Carlos Island Project. The framers are scheduled to start next week. Floor trusses, decking, walls and roof trusses. Keep watching and following.

I am pleased to announce the news of a new contractor out of Orlando, Florida (Orange County) that has commissioned Five Star Drafting, Inc. to handle a multi county single family (new) residential homes project(s)
The first two of my model The Key Largo have been prepared and are at the structural engineers right now for sign and seal. The next step will be for the builder to apply for building permits. Those two are being built in Lakeland, Florida (Polk County)
The Builder (just yesterday) ordered 4 more houses to be built in Ocala (Marion County)
Initially this model will be named The Ocala but I'll entertain some other suggested names, just drop me a comment. This plan will be a new model for my plan book that will be available real soon. A brochure will follow, keep watching and following.
