Congrats to Alejandra who graduated FSW Collegiate High School and will be attending FGCU to study Exercise Science!

"One of the most important things I've learned at the Dojo is just how important dedication and perseverance can be. It can be challenging to do something for so long and move up the ranks, but I always knew that if I kept showing up, working hard, and was willing to learn and adapt, I would improve my skills. I have also learned to apply this to other areas of my life.

When a class gets hard, I find ways to learn and understand the material and persevere. When life gets difficult or confusing, I push myself because I know what I am capable of. Most importantly, I have learned that this Dojo is more than a place to learn Karate; it is a family.

I know that the people at this Dojo will always support and love me as much as I love them. We have each other's backs, always. No matter the age or rank, this Dojo taught me the importance of building connections and fostering relationships that will last a lifetime.

I truly love this Dojo and everything I have learned. I will carry these lessons and memories with me for a lifetime. Thank you so much for the best 13 years of my life!"

Good luck, Alejandra! 🥋

Please join us congratulating Pranav who graduated FSW Collegiate HS with associate degree and is heading to UCF to study Electrical engineering!

"I first joined the dojo when I was younger, and at the time, I honestly didn’t realize how much it would impact my life. Over the years, there were many moments where I felt discouraged and wanted to give up, but continuing my journey here helped shape me into a more disciplined, confident, and mature person.

The dojo taught me lessons that go far beyond karate. Through Sensei’s guidance and the support of everyone around me, I learned the value of hard work and how it led to perseverance. The lessons taught on the dojo floor slowly became lessons I carried into everyday life, and they’ve helped me grow not only as a martial artist, but as a person.

I’m extremely grateful for Sensei, the instructors, my teammates, and everyone in the dojo family who helped push me to become better. Whether it was through training or teaching younger students, the dojo became a second home for me and played a key role in the person I am today.
This fall, I will be attending the University of Central Florida (UCF) to study Electrical Engineering. I’m excited for this next chapter of my life, and I know the discipline and mindset I developed through karate will continue helping me throughout college and my future career.

To all my Kohai, keep working hard, trust the process, and never underestimate how valuable the lessons you learn at the dojo are.

Thank you to everyone at the dojo for being such an important part of my journey."

Good luck, Pranav!! 👊
