Lee County Schools Cadet Squadron, Civil Air Patrol

FLWG Summer Encampment is coming up shortly. You should already be registered for encampment. If not too late! How will you be traveling to and from encampment? Staff will be going on June 23 and basic cadets & advanced squadron cadets will be leaving on the morning of June 25. Please contact the squadron commander to confirm your transportation.

Lee County Schools Cadet Squadron held its Christmas Party at SW Florida Military Museum, in Cape Coral. Cadets recieved tours of the museum.

Squadron cosponsored a Veteran's Day Observance at Gulf Middle School, Cape Coral, FL. The cadets and students did a great job even with the 90 degrees, and in front of over 1,000 onlookers.

Group 5 CAC and Lee County Cadet Squadron just completed a very successful cadet activities day yesterday. Congrats to c/1Lt Ryan Conlin for an outstanding job. The first of its kind in the 20 years plus that I can recall. Cadets participated in drill training, physical fitness, cadet knowledge, roll playing, cadet challenge activities and more.

Lee County Schools Cadet Squadron will resume normal meeting this Thursday, August 21, 2014 at Gulf Middle School in Cape Coral. The meeting will begin at 4:15 p.m. and fund to 6:15 p.m. We will host an open house for interested students and their parents on August 28, 2014 at GMS. Interested students are invited to attend the regular meeting on August 21st and August 28. Parents and guardians are invited to attend the Open House on August 28th at 6:00 p.m. to learn about CAP, its challenges and requirements of membership.

Lee County Schools Cadet Squadron, Civil Air Patrol is open to students from the 6th grade to 18 years of age. All schools and home schools in Lee County are welcome.

Four days yo go before Wreaths Across America cermony on Saturday. 225 wreaths yo place on veterans graves in SW.

Lee County Schools Cadet Squadron held our End of School Year Banquette on Thursday, May 17, 2012 at Gulf Middle School, in Cape Coral, FL.

Lee County School Cadet Squadron will have its annual Christmas Party at CiCi's Pizza on Thursday, December 15, 2011. The party will begin at 5:00 p.m. and end at 6:30 p.m. Cost to cadets is $3.00 plus what ever money they may want for video games. Uniform is the school uniform.

Lee County School Cadet Squadron delievered toys to the Salvation Army on December 9, 2011 to support there Toys for Tots Program. The toys were contributed by students from Gulf Middle School, Cape Coral, Fl.

On Saturday, December 10, 2011 the squadron in conjuction with the Koran War Veterans and the Lee High American Legion Post will take part in the Wreaths Across America, wreath laying cermonies at Eco Park, Cape Coral, FL, and at Fort Myers Memoral Gardens.
