1️⃣ Tell them often: “I’m so lucky to be your parent, and I love you so much.”
2️⃣ Ask about a favorite memory—and then plan to recreate it together.
3️⃣ Share a silly bedtime “secret” that’s just between the two of you.
4️⃣ Light up when they walk into the room—let them see your joy.
5️⃣ Let them overhear you speaking kindly and proudly about them.
6️⃣ Take each child for solo walks to enjoy one-on-one connection.
7️⃣ When hugging, let them decide when to let go—no matter how long it takes.
8️⃣ Create family rituals: Friday pizza night, Sunday park trips, or Saturday pancake mornings.
9️⃣ Keep a shared notebook where you swap messages, drawings, or jokes.
🔟 After school, offer a quiet snack before asking about their day.
1️⃣1️⃣ Leave little love notes in lunchboxes, backpacks, or on the bathroom mirror.
1️⃣2️⃣ Look through their baby pictures together—they’ll love hearing the stories.
1️⃣3️⃣ Surprise them by picking them up early from school or an activity.
1️⃣4️⃣ Ask for their “expert” help on something you’re working on—make them feel capable.

In the rush of daily life, it’s easy to forget: children don’t need grand gestures to feel loved.
It’s these small, consistent moments—your presence, your smile, your time—that leave the biggest mark. 🌟

ADHD kids often grow up feeling misunderstood — too much, too loud, too emotional… or somehow not enough.
But when they have a parent who makes them feel safe, seen, and supported, everything shifts. 💛
Here are 12 signs you’re creating emotional safety for your ADHD child:
1️⃣ You pause before reacting to their big emotions.
2️⃣ You help them name their feelings instead of dismissing them.
3️⃣ You never shame them for struggling with focus, impulsivity, or emotional regulation.
4️⃣ You advocate for them at school, even when it drains you.
5️⃣ You choose connection over control.
6️⃣ You repair after tough moments — because perfection isn’t the goal.
7️⃣ You offer tools, not punishments.
8️⃣ You remind them they are good, even in their hardest moments.
9️⃣ You make sure they know their brain isn’t “broken” — just wonderfully wired.
🔟 You listen without rushing to fix.
1️⃣1️⃣ You build routines that support their brain, not what society says “should” work.
1️⃣2️⃣ You reassure them they are loved exactly as they are.
💡 ADHD kids don’t need perfect parents.
They need parents who make them feel safe.
And if you’re reading this… you’re already becoming that parent. 💛
