We hope your week is going well and you are staying warm! Below is information for some upcoming events.

Epic Universe is a field trip for 8th-12th grades. Students are invited to Universals newest park! The price is $150 per person and the event takes place on 02/05/26.

On January, 22nd, 2026, 6th-12th grades will be competing against each other in an intramural volleyball tournament. Teams are encouraged to dress in their team colors to help bolster team and class spirit!

On the same day, 01/22/26, all grades have been invited to participate in our Athletic Department Hotdog Fundraiser. Mr.Mallion will be grilling hotdog meals available for students to purchase at $5 each. The meal will be ready for students to eat at lunch and includes a hotdog with condiments, a side of chips, and a drink. Pre-orders are encouraged and can be made through the office. Day-of orders will be accepted while supplies last.

This Thursday is the NHS Annual Pizza Fundraiser at IL Primo Pizza & Wings. Help kick-off this Christmas season by joining us with your family and friends from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m.

Reminder📢

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving Chapel for K-12th grades! Chapel will start at 10:00 a.m. and students are expected to return to class after. Dismissal will be at our normal scheduled time.

After our Thanksgiving break, on Thursday, 12/04/25, NHS will be holding a Pizza Night Fundraiser at IL Primo Pizza & Wings from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. We hope to see you there with your friends and family! Don’t forget if you stop by to tell the staff at the register that you are with Cape Coral Christian School.

On Tuesday, 12/16/25, NHS will also be hosting a hot chocolate bar for K-12th grades! They will be set-up from 12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. for students to stop by and grab a warm cup of hot cocoa with a fun variety of toppings for $4.

Upcoming Events‼️

This Thursday, K-5th grades will celebrate the Annual Fall Festival during school hours on campus. Students can participate in a Trunk or Treat, crafts, and games.

After school, from 6:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m., 6th-12th grades are invited to participate in a student council sponsored Fall Movie Night. Tickets are $5 and include the price of admission, crafts, and games. There will be hamburgers, hotdogs, popcorn, drinks, and more available at an additional cost. Order forms for this event are due tomorrow!

Reminders📢

Picture day will be on next Monday, October 13th. All students must wear a collared school shirt, and seniors must wear their white collared school shirt❗️Information on how to order your children’s photos were sent home yesterday.

Today is the last day to order your NHS fundraiser
t-shirts, long sleeve t-shirts, and hoodies. Those 60-degree days are coming, and you’ll want a super soft hoodie to keep you warm! An email with additional order forms went out earlier this week.

This week's Verse of the Week is Romans 6:23 - For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord. Crusaders in grades K-12 are memorizing this incredible promise in their Bible classes this week. What a treasure to hide in our hearts! Save this picture of our "F" verse of the week, memorize it with us, and let it be an encouragement to you as you go through the rest of this week.

Deadline Extension❗️

Friendly reminder that order forms for an NHS shirt fundraiser were handed out before our mini fall break. The members were inspired by the Bible verse, Micah 6:8, “He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God,” for the shirt design. The shirt design can be printed in regular ink or with puff lettering.

Proceeds go towards the NHS service projects that they organize throughout the year, like beach clean-ups and volunteering for various community events. Addition flyers with prices and order forms can be found in the school office. Thank you for your continued support of our National Honor Society!
