Every year I walk into homeschool convention season thinking, “Maybe this year I won’t feel overwhelmed.” And every year… I still do.

So I can only imagine how a first-time homeschool parent feels walking through aisles of curriculum, hearing:
“You NEED this program.”
“This is what fixes struggling readers.”
“This is the only math curriculum that works.”

It’s loud. The consumerism is real. The FOMO is real.

But what’s also real is this: God already equipped YOU to be the right parent for your child. 🤍

No curriculum will ever replace your discernment, your love, your consistency, or the way you know your child best. Resources can help, but they are not the answer.

Take a deep breath. You do not need everything. You are not behind. And you are more capable than you think. ✨
