⭐️ SENIOR SPOTLIGHT ⭐️

Between now and May 31st, we'll be sharing one graduating Bulldog Theatre Senior per day!

🎭 Sophia Portier 🎭

Sophia Portier has been actively involved with Bulldog Theatre for 4 years and has participated in pretty much every competition, performance, musical, and community event since 9th grade! She is an incredible dancer, singer, and actor and has showcased all of her talents throughout the years, specifically in how she just naturally takes ownership of the stage when executing choreography. Eyes can't help but to find her when she dances and she has been honorably noted by audiences in every production! Mrs. Jones has been slightly {overly} obsessed with her dancing abilities since she first performed a class assignment in Theatre 1 in the Fall of 2022. She made her 9th grade musical debut as an Audrey 2 vine in "Little Shop of Horrors," followed by a Silly Girl in "Beauty and the Beast," the principal role of ditzy Skyler in "Bring It On," and then finally as the sassy Delta Nu, Leilani, in "Legally Blonde." She has managed being a Dual Enrollment student, working part-time, and school involvement like a total champ for the last few years and we love that she never let go of being part of our program! Sophia is a talented member of the IBHS Varsity cheer team, has volunteered for various clubs throughout the years, and completed the school's Medical Academy! Like many of her Class of 2026 peers, she is true representation of someone who has worked incredibly hard to maximize her high school experience and we know she'll do amazing things in life! Congratulations on all of your accomplishments!

🎭 Madison Lockert 🎭

Madison Lockert had been actively involved with Bulldog Theatre for 4 years and has participated in pretty much every competition, performance, musical, and community event since her 9th grade! She is an incredible dancer, singer, and actor and has showcased all of her talents throughout the years, specifically helping with choreography and implementing her natural leadership skills. She made her 9th grade debut as an Audrey 2 vine in "Little Shop of Horrors," followed by a Silly Girl in "Beauty and the Beast," a cheerleading dancer in "Bring It On," and then finally as the sassy Vivienne in "Legally Blonde." She also performed a beautiful rendition of "Part of Your World" in "Dare to Dream JR" where she showcased her gorgeous voice. Madison is also super involved in the overall school community and is an outstanding scholar! She was one of the captains on the Varsity cheer team this year, held several leadership positions in various clubs, and completed the school's Medical Academy! Congratulations on all of your accomplishments!

🎭 Matheus Souza 🎭

Matheus Souza made his Bulldog Theatre debut this spring as a senior in "Legally Blonde" and quickly became one of our favorite performers! He started the show as Warner, but then moved into the role of Emmett only two weeks before opening! He was absolutely incredible and truly took the musical to the next level with his vivid characterization, his natural talent of improvisation, and his phenomenal musical talents! Matheus is also an active member of the IBHS Music Department and helped elevate our recent musical even more by incorporating the Drumline into one of the songs! The live drums proved to be a standout feature of the show and we are so thankful they all wanted to be part of the production. Mrs. Jones has told Matheus pretty much every day since joining the program that she wishes she would have met him sooner. He is a naturally talented performer in every aspect and is one of the fastest learners and hardest working teens in the department!

We love you and we love having you as part of the Bulldog Theatre family, Matheus. Welcome home! 💙🖤
