These past two days, we have been intentional about building connections and practicing regulation strategies with some of our new and current students who are on campus this summer. π
We feel so fortunate to have this time together before the school year begins. It gives our admin team the opportunity to become familiar faces, build trust, and get to know each student in a more relaxed setting. It also gives our students the chance to meet staff, make connections with peers, and become more comfortable on campus.
We also enjoy getting to know those on campus who may not be our Thrive students, because every connection made on campus matters.
By incorporating mini groups each day, we are able to use playful engagement, connection, and TBRI-informed strategies to help students feel safe, seen, and supported. These small moments of laughter, regulation, and relationship-building are such an important foundation as we prepare for the year ahead.
A big thank you to Ms. Faust for making a guest appearance and helping lead today!
We love getting to know everyone and are so excited for what is to come! πΎπ

We love when our students stop in and give us a much-needed break from our computers and summer planning! ππΎ
Even our class pet/office pet had to join in on the fun!
Whether our Thrive students are on campus for summer camp, career camp, or just stopping by to say hello, getting to see them is truly one of the highlights of summer for our entire admin team. We love every chance we get to see their smiling faces! βοΈ

Yesterday was our last teacher duty day before summer, and we couldnβt part ways without ending together in a staff nurture group. π
While we have been using nurture groups within our high school class, being able to pause and practice this with our teachers was such a meaningful way to close out the year.
TBRI, Trust-Based Relational Intervention, focuses on connection, felt safety, and helping students build trust while learning healthy ways to communicate and regulate. As we continue growing into next school year, learning how to better implement these tools across our campus is so important.
We are so thankful for a team that is always willing to learn, reflect, and grow so we can better support and love our students each day. πΎπ

ππΎ What an Amazing Year! πΎπ
We canβt express enough how thankful we are for another amazing school year. Thank you to the families who let us love your kids this year. As an entire team, we have truly enjoyed every moment and at times, we may have acted like kids ourselves! π
We have cherished the hugs, the laughs, the pranks, and simply watching each student grow in their own special way. Today was the perfect fun-filled ending with baby ducks, a bounce house, a water balloon fight, movies, games, crafts, and so many smiles.
We will miss capturing all of our students and their sweet moments this summer, but just wait until you see what we have in store for next year!
With so much love,
The Thrive Team πβ¨

We wanted to say a heartfelt thank you to all of the parents and family members who came out yesterday to celebrate with us. π
We know several family members were unable to be there, and we truly wish everyone could have joined us. It takes a village, and we are so thankful for the love, encouragement, and support each of you pours into our students.
We are incredibly grateful to play even a small part in their journey and could not be prouder of them. πβ¨
