Junior High students are starting off the year strong with pastel landscapes of barns. They learned about composition using the rule of thirds to complete these drawings.

Mr. Fidler is looking forward to pushing these students to see where they can go.

Starting Monday October 5 through the 9th, the 2025-2026 High School and Junior High yearbooks will go on sale during lunch.

Tech students and students paying with cash should see Mr. Fidler before school or make arrangements by email. Checks only please.

The high school yearbook is $112.
The junior high yearbook is $50

Pumpkin Storybook Character Family Project

Dear Families,
This month, I would like to extend our love for storybook characters by having each student, with the help of their families, create a pumpkin character based on their favorite storybook character. I am asking that only artificial pumpkins be used. Be creative, and have fun! Please send in your artificial character pumpkin by Friday, October 23rd. These pumpkins will be on display in the elementary library all month. Every pumpkin will earn a prize at our book fair from October 26th through the 30th. I hope you all have fun completing this project as a family. I can't wait to see all of the great characters.

Nominations are now open to recognize outstanding athletes, coaches, teams, and contributors to Capac Community Schools. The deadline for nominations is Wednesday, September 30, 2026. The induction ceremony will be held at halftime of a varsity boys’ basketball game to be announced. The nomination form can be found on our website under the Athletics tab. Please be aware that you need to fill out and turn in the form to nominate someone; tagging them here will not nominate them.
