WTAMU Office of Residential Living WTAMU's Office of Residential Living provides an excellent on-campus housing experience to more than 2,300 students each year.

Living on campus is truly a unique experience. Students have the opportunity to be actively involved in their education and develop lifelong friendships. WTAMU has eleven residence halls, each offering multiple features. Each fall, more than 2,400 students experience life on campus. The Office of Residential Living strives to create an on-campus environment which will provide students with opportu

nities to succeed academically and to develop the interpersonal skills which will assist them for their lifetime. National research shows that college students who live on campus:

*Earn higher grade point averages
*Are more likely to graduate in four years
*Have a higher retention rate than those living off campus
*Are more satisfied with their overall college experience

In addition to this, a great deal of learning takes place outside of the classroom. Much of this engaged learning occurs in the residence halls where students are challenged by major life questions and are learning about themselves and how to live well with others. Living on campus allows students to transition into adulthood in a safe, supportive environment.

Move-In wouldn’t be possible without the students who showed up, worked hard, and helped welcome our residents home to WT.

We’re especially grateful for the groups recognized by our Heads of Herd: LadyBuffVolleyball , WT Women's Basketball , WT Women Soccer, West Texas A&M Men's Soccer , West Texas A&M University Spirit , and our WT Sororities 🫶
