BSW FIELD DIRECTOR & INSTRUCTOR
West Texas A&M University invites applications for a 9-month Instructor-level position in Social Work beginning Fall 2026.
The successful candidate will serve as BSW Field Director, overseeing field education, internships, placement coordination, community partnerships, and student success in practicum settings. Additional responsibilities include undergraduate teaching, advising, and service.
Required Qualifications:
• MSW from a CSWE-accredited program
• Minimum two years of post-MSW professional social work experience
• Ability to teach effectively in face-to-face and online formats
Strongly Preferred:
• Current Clinical Licensure (LCSW)
• Clinical experience in mental health, behavioral health, healthcare, or related practice settings
Preferred:
• Texas social work licensure
• Experience supervising, mentoring, or supporting social work students
• Experience with field education and internship coordination
• Experience developing and sustaining community partnerships and field placement opportunities
